Answer:	They said they’ll warranty the pliers but not the cable or cable sleeve. Also would like to add that I have used these pliers extensively and have had no issue with them not working or breaking. They are a must when dealing with spring clamps, big or small

Answer:	I used it on clamps for 5/8 heater hose to about 2-1/2 radiator hose. I did find on smaller clamps with good access, vice grips work as well or better. This does allow you to get on clamps you can barely touch, since you can guide the clamp portion of the tool with the cable.
Question:	How many locking positions does it have? is it like the otc version with four locking positions, or just one at full sqeeze
Answer:	There are three distinct click stops. If the clamp you are compressing is not fully compressed between click stops, you can adjust the tension with the adjusting wheel/cylinder at the end of the cable holder. It is knurled, silver colored cylinder at the end of the cable. You can screw it in to tighten the cable on the clamp so you can fully compress it (and fully open it). This lets you use both hands to reach in there to get the clamp off. The tool works very well, and is essential (IMHO) for specific circumstances, like a heater hose clamp on a firewall.

Answer:	The ends work for normal clic clamps and the ones on the sides are for clic clamps with limit stops which I have not seen.

Answer:	I bought these and another set (same brand slightly smaller to complement my tool box and throw all the other ones in my junk tool box) for removing the internal circlips on motorcycle fork seal clips (about 2-1/4"). These worked great! The other set is for smaller pin holes and). Both kits I bought have 2 sets of internal and 2 sets for external (straight and 90 deg.). They are very heavy duty and removed the frozen rusted clips when all other supposedly good snap ring plyers have failed and broke. I've spent more money on the useless combo ones then I spent on these. As far as snap ring size you will need to check the catch holes on your snap rings with the tail end of a decimal drill bit and make sure the pins will work on the set you buy.

Answer:	I'm not sure what you're asking the overall measurement is 9 3/8" with the tips being a max of 2 1/4 " these are strictly made for popping loose door panel clips and the like such as the old type plastic clips that hold on fender panels and such they are very sturdy and work well I myself have used a set since 1988 without any issues . Answer:	These are a good general tool, but for what you are doing I recommend Steck item #21720. It will wrap around the clip solid, so when you pry you have less chance of it slipping off and damaging the trim panel. The older panels are usually cardboard, and wont take very much stress. The KD tools pliers work well with the newer plastic panels.

Question:	Are all of the pliers in the set spring loaded? I just got mine and only two of them are spring loaded
Answer:	The 2 shorter handle pliers (straight and bent) in the top left compartment should both be spring assisted... and the 2 longer handle pliers (straight and bent) in the very bottom compartment should both be spring assisted. To spot the spring loaded pliers in the picture (as well as my personal set) look for the pliers that appear to be open in the picture. So you should have a total of 4 pliers with a spring load and 4 pliers without. This would be the difference in pliers used for internal snap rings vs external snap rings. So "Rick's" answer below, is incorrect, if in fact he has the exact same set as these... or he better check his pliers again... because he should return them for the right ones...lol.
