Also, the comparison has to be between similar sized tools. The 12" knipex cobra is not comparable to a 24" pipe wrench, but the 22" knipex is.

Answer:	Not sure what you mean by "disassemble" or why you would want to. You would simply remove the screws. But on the chance you mean remove the plunger to clean it, it is extremely easy. Simply lift the top handle enough to slip it out of the capture/retention grooves on each... resulting in two pieces. You'll likely need a small brush to clean the potatoes out of all the holes.... millions and billions of tiny holes. A million trillion holes. You get the idea. I seldom use mine. For a bachelor, a simple fork mashes fine.
