Answer:	I don't know about any complaints about breakage. I use this to cut brush around my property and I haven't had any problems.

Answer:	It only comes with the fabric. Cheapest way to make hoops is to buy a roll of heavy gauge wire from a farm supply store and cut your own. Orschelens has a roll for about 12.00. One circle cut off the roll will make a row hoop about 3' wide or so and a fabric that's 7ft wide should cover it. Buy the wider fabric and you can also cut it too size if you want to. Just be sure you have enough to pile dirt or something heavy along the sides of the rows so the wind wont blow it away.

Answer:	I don’t. I live in New York and it stays on all winter. Water goes through it so no need to water. I use it mainly to prevent deer from eating the branches.

Answer:	2 inches.

Answer:	There is only one strap and it has enough additional strap sticking out past the snap that with a little practice you can unsnap the strap and grab the handle all in one motion. This procedure can me done without looking down at the scabbard. If I personally thought that I about to find myself in a life or death situation, the strap would be unsnapped just like I would take a gun off safety if I felt threatened. Good luck and stay safe. I would not want to be on the receiving end of this machete!
Question:	What is the pocket on the sheath for
Answer:	To be honest, I mainly sharpen my machetes in the field. I don't get fancy and I carry light. Because I cut mostly green materials, I will use a half round bastard file with a second-cut coarseness. The half round bastard file I like to use on curved machetes like the Camp 10. The use of the second-cut coarse files are for expediency. If there is a big enough chip in the blade, I will go after it with a coarse file. Then I will finish the edge with a second-cut file and (if I am in the mood) a finishing file. Usually I shoot for a 27 degree angle on the edge.

Answer:	No.. the cheap rubberish handle seems molded around the tang with 2 screws holding it in place. I guess that would make it about 3/4 tang. the blade is great (I love the ghurka/klingon look) and IMO worth it even with the lame handle. Since it can be taken off.. I'm hoping to get at afew of my buddy's tools and make my own wooden handle.

Answer:	Nope, because this sheath is looped (to slide onto a belt) AND it is big enough to insert the blade in either direction (edge facing left or right), you can actually wear it on either side and draw it regular or cross from both positions. Very useful.

Answer:	my machete as pictured and I ordered (3), had no pocket you mention, very well made machete. Big problem on all (3) of the machetes I ordered, the retaining snap is placed in the wrong place and won't wrap around the handle and snap. I contacted vendor, no help even after sending before and after photos, cost me $20/machete to fix problem. I took the scabbard to a shoe repair shop, where the leather strap was relocated and could snap, securing the machete. Informed. Solid made machete but doubt I would purchase again based on the securing snap issue and lack of vendor help to resolve problem properly.
