User questions & answers

Question: The description says milled face the picture showes a smooth face just want to make sure I would be getting a milled face should I buy
Answer: It does not say oil free on the bottle and I do not recognize any of the ingredient chemicals as being oils. Hope this helps
Question: estwing factory says this model is 13.5 in
Answer: The bottle does not really have text indicating "medium hold", but it says the following: "TRES TWO SPRAY ultra fine mist HAIR SPRAY". It has 3 out of 5 indicator. It also has "FIRM CONTROL" on the side.
Question: Which model of this hammer will be sent... The one pictured or the older model
Answer: No. I only use one or two pumps for my thick hair. It definitely smooths out the frizz but it's not shiny. I use to use Paul Mitchell. It was much more shiny. It's hard to find for a reasonable price anymore.

User questions & answers

Question: What is the diameter of the faces of the hammer
Answer: 1.5" to 2"
Question: What are the best uses for this hammer? i just want an excuse for another watering made in the usa
Answer: Possibly my favorite hammer of the 20 or so I own. With this hammer you can do anything except pull nails. The length is just right for the hammer weight. The grip provides great padding and traction. It has fantastic balance and feels good in the hand. The 40 ounce total weight and large faces makes it easy to pound nails and anything else. It is about equal to a 28 ounce carpenters framing hammer in hitting power, but feels lighter. It is perfect for blacksmithing and hitting hot metal. The metal shaft will not not burn. I use it for chasing metal mostly, but its uses are endless.
Question: What's the rockwell hardness of this hammer? Any idea? I don't have a tester at home and need to know for some tools I'll be making for use with it
Answer: I dont know. Sorry. I drive in hard heads into Power poles a lot with it. It seems to be a pretty tough hammer.
Question: Face diameter
Answer: 1.53" usable face 1.71 od (chamfered)

User questions & answers

Question: Does this have a steel neck
Answer: You put an ez cup filter into the product. Fill the filter with coffee. Depending on the coffee you use, and the fineness of the ground, you adjust how much you put in there - Also it will depend on what size coffee you are making. this is what is great about the product - fully customizable depending on your taste
Question: Is this a 12 or 16 ounce hammer? Both weights are stated in the description
Answer: Absolutely not. You simply insert the EZ-Cup just like a regular K-Cup. Read my recent (1/12/13) review to learn how to make a strong cup of coffee using the EZ-Cup.
Question: Where is this item made
Answer: Yes
Question: Can anybody comment on shock-reduction property? thanks
Answer: I've never had a problem with the pod.
Question: Is this a set of two
Answer: Isn't this concept completely defeating the purpose of what these little "push and go" makers? I was looking to do this because what I'd last found in my research on Jeurig vs Nespresso was that Keurig would only sell variety packs of their pods, and all I'm interested in is the exspresso. I thought it was delicious when my daughter introduced me to it. It was so good, that it actually angered me - I've been making my own expressos, freshly grinding the beans seconds before brewing . . . And this last year a friend turned me on to using a burr grinder which made a big difference. I've been working on it for over 30 years and was pretty proud of how good I'd gotten, but still with some days better than others. And then my daughter shows me where the pods were, and what to push, and within 5 minutes of first starting, I was sipping on a cup that I could not make taste any better than - and the cream was better! I could have essentially the best cup I ever made from scratch in a fraction of the time, and I think of the various machines, grinders, and frothers that I'd bought and went through - all that money and time I'd spent, which appeared to be obsolete now. That's where the "mad" came from.. But when I learned that I couldn't get JUST the espresso, and 3rd party supplier reviews didnt sound up to par, I smiled. But then i heard that Nexoresso DOES sell JUST their espresso, which is what brought me looking for a solution of using the square peg in the round hole. But the first thing I've learned us that the brewing processes in the two machines are completely different. The filters in the Keurig are pierced on both ends, and the nespresso just sprinkles the water on top. The results I read were that using a good in a keurig with an adapter like this are a much weaker cup. That's unacceptable, and the reason I drink espresso in the first place. But I dont like to only go off the first thing I read, which is why I'm here, and hence my initial comment about defeating the initial purpose of these simple-to-operate rigs. What is different about using a keurig with the pod adapter and the disposable paper filter -and now people are asking for a larger carafe - than an old fashioned coffee pot? It's the same number of components involved in making the morning pot. In fact, as they try to sell you on the environmental benefits, I think of my espresso maker and ALL of my components are reusable - and I dont have any plastic! EVERYTHING rinses clean. I think the whole point of this kind of coffee maker market was for the people who are on the run and don't have time to mess with the whole process to he able to push a couple buttons and have a cup. This is nothing more than an adapter to use the square peg in a round hole, which results in worse performance, and destroys the purpose that you initially bought the maker for.
