Answer:	I imagine she knows what mosaic is and that it is not a material per se. She is probably looking for the same thing I am, which is to craft mosaic stepping stones etc, with a tool designed to cut/break China pieces, plates and glass into neater, better controlled pieces than the traditional shards and odd shapes you get when attempting to break them with a hammer. Answer:	Absolutely! I don't think they would do an inch though, I don't have mine presently so I can't check. Think they open 1/2 to 5/8. I can cut smalti easy, and they are quite fat sometimes.
Question:	Can this be used on stone as well as glass
Answer:	On small stone tiles, yes this can be used but from my own experience using these the tiles tend to crumble when cut. Small cuts starting from one edge are best. This is not due to the tool but to the tiles themselves.

Question:	this saw comes w/a diamond blade. would it be good enough to cut little glass mosaic tiles or should I order a different diamond blade
Answer:	The blade will cut through the glass tiles just fine, however, I would suggest purchasing a thinner more durable blade. I purchased a Ridgid 7" blade from Home Depot. The Ridgid blade make cleaner cuts and wastes less material because it is a thinner blade.Also, Skil just came out with a new updated model of this saw. I would suggest purchasing that saw instead because it has some much needed improvements. Answer:	am sure you can cut even 24x24 in. tile. to cut straight get 1x1x 20--24 in, wood and clamp under the table as your guide to cut straight,hope this will help. skil power tools are great and cheaper than MK

Answer:	Depends on the size of the rock. The material is not an issue -- I use it to cut agates and quartz up to a couple inches in size. The important thing is to go slow and make sure to keep the cut wet.

Answer:	i'M SORRY, BUT NO THIS WILL NOT CUT THE BRITTLE. this saw was designed for tile, brick and old tootsie rolls only. the reason tht is, the hamsters in the the motor are allergic to peanuts and a few other foods. seeing as how we all love fluffy hamsters, they gave them work instead of turning them away( that and hamsters have a ton of kids!!). the saw you are looking for has gophers in the drive motor( 2 x's the power for those thick piece's of brittle), that have been thoroughly screened for any deadly allergies to tree nuts and dairy, not to mention sock puppets and shoe polish as well. i do suggest that if you are going to buy the gopher powered brittle slicer 3000xlr made by Skill'dG( skilled gophers), to make sure you are getting the real thing, and not a cheap australian clone. contact the gopher union work force development office and they will give you a list of all non gopher supported and wallaby knock offs and a wallet sized card for easy recognition of their branded products. They may ask for a donation, but it's well worth the $120 to join their non members club. You get free holes in your green, and much, much more. For a professional tile setter, who cuts lots of different materials with different thicknesses, sigma is a great choice for any professional. Not really practical for DIY applications, this particular cutter has no thickness adjustment, but works amazing for standard size tile up to 12 inches.

Answer:	Hi there, the Amazing Tile And Glass Cutter is not designed to Cut Vinyl Tile because it is not actually a sharp blade, it is Just an Extremely Hard Wheel like Diamond so when Scoring, it Actually Weakens the Glass or the Harder Side of the Tile. Then the breaker bends the Glass or Tile and because it is a rigid material it follows the weakness and breaks cleanly. As Vinyl tile is a relatively soft material it will need to be cut with a sharp blade and whilst it can be bent over a table edge, it cannot be split in the same way a Tile can. Hope this helps Paul.
