12 best 24 inch bolt cutters
22 scopes are a specific type of rifle scope commonly used in shooting and hunting sports. These scopes are designed for firearms chambered in the .22 Long Rifle (LR) caliber, which is a popular choice for small game hunting, target shooting, and plinking due to its low recoil and cost-effectiveness.
Key features of 22 scopes include:
Magnification: 22 scopes typically have lower magnification levels compared to scopes designed for larger caliber rifles. They often come in fixed magnification options like 4x or 3-9x variable magnification to provide a clear view of targets at relatively close to medium ranges.
Objective Lens Diameter: These scopes have smaller objective lenses, usually around 32mm or smaller. This size is suitable for the .22 LR caliber, as it allows for a lightweight and compact design.
Rimfire-Specific Reticles: Many 22 scopes feature reticles (crosshairs) specifically designed for rimfire cartridges. These reticles help compensate for the bullet drop that occurs at longer distances, making it easier to aim accurately.
Parallax Adjustment: Some 22 scopes come with parallax adjustment, allowing the shooter to correct for parallax error at various distances. This feature is particularly useful for precision shooting.
Durability: While 22 scopes are not subjected to the same recoil forces as scopes on high-powered rifles, they still need to withstand the vibrations and shock associated with shooting. Quality 22 scopes are built with durable materials and are often shockproof, fogproof, and waterproof.
Budget-Friendly: 22 scopes are generally more affordable than scopes designed for larger caliber rifles, making them an excellent choice for shooters and hunters on a budget.
In summary, 22 scopes are specialized optics designed for firearms chambered in the .22 LR caliber. They offer lower magnification, smaller objective lenses, and rimfire-specific features to enhance accuracy and performance in shooting and hunting applications.

Question: | Will this cut open a sportneer lock |

They're pretty useless for me. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Still made in usa or china? from desciption "made in usa or imported" lol |
Answer: | It of course depends on the size of the padlock and the type of steel, but I do not think the 8-inch Tekton would do the job. These are fairly small. I have a "big brother" to the 8-inch Tekton and it might not even be enough. Look at the product description; many times the recommended size/diameter of wire/steel rod that the tool can cut is listed. Sorry that I could not provide a better answer. |
Question: | will these cut rebar |
Answer: | I have the 9" and it cuts the clothes wire hangers real easy, but I don't have the 12" although the 12" is good for cutting bolts and locks so I think it shouldn't have problem cutting wire shelf hangers. |
Question: | Are these manufactured entirely in the USA? Or, are they assembled here in the USA from components made in china? Thanks |
Answer: | If you look at the pictures the 8" has a slightly different jaw design than the rest of the line. You'd have to take some measurements but the jaw geometry is probably slightly different allowing a larger opening (if scaled down proportionally like the rest of the line, it'd only have a 1/8" opening which isn't too useful. For wires or bolts that thin you could use any other cutting tool as well, so they probably had to change things up to make an 8-inch sized cutter useful. |
Question: | will these cut disc locks |
Answer: | I tried it on a ABUS 64TI/40 Titalium Aluminum Alloy Padlock and the Nano Protect Steel Shackle and the padlock just laughed at me while putting indentations on the bolt cutter blades. |

The Bolt Cutting Tool You Need
The Neiko 24-inch Bolt Cutter is ideal for professional or DIY use to cut bolts, chains, padlocks, threaded rods, heavy gauge wires, fencing and many other metals.
Precision engineered, these heavy duty bolt cutters feature a lever-fulcrum design that converts user-generated pounds of force at the handles into thousands of pounds of pressure between the jaws. Forged of heat treated, hardened Chrome-Molybdenum steel, the jaws resist damage and dents as they bite through the toughest applications. Blade clearance is factory set, but is easily adjusted by turning the two eccentric bolts at the tool's head. The textured grips are easy on hands and angled at their ends to maximize leverage. Finally, the satin finish of the blades provide an attractive contrast to the black matte finish of the handles.
- CHROME MOLY STEEL: 24-inch premium Cr-Mo steel jaws cut through harder objects than chrome vanadium steel bolt cutters
- DURABLE BLADES: High-frequency, heat treated blades resist damage and dents in tough applications
- MORE POWER, LESS EFFORT: Classic lever-fulcrum design and precisely aligned blades deliver added leverage with less effort
- ERGONOMICAL HANDLES: Angled non-slip plastic, textured grips provide greater control and comfort in cutting
- HEAVY DUTY: Cuts the toughest bolts, chains, padlocks, threaded rods, wires and many other metals
User questions & answers
Question: | Will this 30" bolt cutter cut 1/2" rebar |
Answer: | Get the biggest one you can handle the small ones don't have enough leverage. |
Question: | Will these cut through a padlock |
Answer: | Bolt cutters won't work--you CAN NOT cut them off flush and it will look crummy. I had the same problem with roof nails protruding into my attic by a poor roofing job--looked like a porcupine. I cut the nails flush with 14" "hoof nippers" made by Diamond Tool and Horseshoe in Minnesota. You will need 14" inch for the leverage. They work great!--but they are kinda spendy... but will last a lifetime. |
Question: | Could I could cut a lock with this |
Answer: | It can cut the wire with diameter of 3/16-inch, could you compare with your fishing hook? If your hook is thicker than 3/16-inch, it's hard to cut. |
Question: | Would one of these cut the commonly found 3/8" braided bike lock cables? Could it be used repeatedly for this purpose |
Answer: | The best option would be a 14-in size bolt cutter. Just large enough to cut a large lock but not so heavy that you can't run fast when holding it. Great question |

Question: | I have never used a bolt cutter in my life. the handles appear locked--i'm not able to open/close the jaws. am i suppose to loosen something |
Answer: | I would suspect parts made in China but assembled in USA if I had to guess. |
Question: | how wide is the blade area? I need to cut a screw that is about 3 inches deep in a 3/4 inch crevice |
Answer: | Probably if you’re a pretty strong guy. I’ve never cut anything larger than 1/4” with mine and it takes a bit of muscle so I’d go with a bigger pair for rebar. |
Question: | Can these cut through the steel bands of a motorcycle tire |
Answer: | They are made in the USA. I checked with Cooper Tools to verify. |
Question: | Will these cut through a padlock |
Answer: | If there is enough room to get the cutter head in. The locking pin on disc locks are not long. |
