Answer:	These crimpers are rated for up to 10 AWG, will absolutely work for that size wire. Most automotive battery main cables are MUCH larger than 10awg, more like 6awg - 2awg, and these would NOT WORK for those sizes. 10awg - 22awg is the capacity range.

Question:	Can you use this on R-6 TV cable
Answer:	You remove the tiny screw and rotate the cog to adjust the crimp pressure. I had to adjust the one I bought, but it's pretty much a one-time thing.

Answer:	I have used the tool on regular connecting sleeves even though it is designed for the heat shrink sleeves. I have had no issues using on regular plastic sleeve connectors. I do recommend using heat shrink sleeves for all applications. They don't cost that much more and provide a better connection and seals the wire and sleeve protecting from moisture and corrosion.

Answer:	I don't believe so. It is set up as bought to work on standard red, blue and yellow terminals, from 10 gauge to 22 gauge. At least the one i bought is set that way. I don't know if other jaws are available for purchase to service 6 gauge wire.

Question:	are they made in USA
Answer:	This set is designed to utilize the included brass fittings to crimp both over sections of stripped wire and insulation, then the terminal insulation slides over the connector. The fit is specific to the brass connectors and will cut through shrink wrap or insulated connector covers.
Question:	How thick is the crimping surface for insulated terminals
Answer:	This kit will handle 22awg though 16awg. I don't think it will do a good job with 14awg. You can buy kits that will work with larger sizes.
Question:	Are they lifetime warrantied
Answer:	I've never tried it, but since it says that it has "adjustable crimping compression" I'm betting that it would. It's possible that it wouldn't work on the smallest wire in the smallest terminals. But, for wire sizes that would normally go in the blue or yellow slots you could probably use the next smaller slot to get the compression you need.
