Answer:	Hello friend, these ferrules fit wire with 10ga to 22 ga, but would not fit a 4gague wire. The largest one would fit a 10ga wire.

Answer:	It's been a while since I messed with amplifiers, but if you squeeze bare twisted wire into the connectors, these will work, and work better than just squishing twisted wire. It also looks way more professional.

Answer:	The holes of a breadboard, like for integrated circuits or 1/4 watt resistors is less than 0.10", I think, but I don't know what it is. But integrated circuits and most all breadboard have a distance between the holes of 0.10". In answer to your question, ferrules are available from really small to fairly large and this similar will handle all of them. The smallest I have is 0.045" outside diameter. For comparison, a Male pin for a DB15 or DBDB25 computer connector is about 0.040". I believe the pins are large enough to make adequate connection in a reusable breadboard of the Radio Shack variety. Hope that helps!
