Answer:	I'm not going to be a lot of help here. I purchased the one pack and they look exactly like the picture you supplied with your question. Nothing really slides without turning a knob to move the clamps on the threads.

Question:	Do the 8510 come with the plastic knobs
Answer:	Define original. The original Pony Jorgensen Cabinet Claw was made, in house, in Chicago before Pony Jorgensen shut down around 2016. This is the new version (2019) since returning to operations. Looks like a result of Outsourcing. Sacrificing quality for price. In other words, from a professional woodworking tool to a hobby tool. Our guess is these are now made in China. We'd like to see Pony Jorgensen offer both, at a price. Would we be willing to buy the old style at today's prices? If You want professional results day in and day out... Or just a need a one time use?

Answer:	Normally would not answer a question like this - of course it is a real Pony clamp - however one responder 'GreatStar Tools' states: " Yes, we took over PONY and will keep this brand and his quality. All prodcuts follow strictly PONY's standard." First they would spell their responses correctly and second if that was true they would still come with the original hand screw style handles - much easier to use and a much Higher quality product - but that is just my opinion. I ordered from a picture with the original handles and mine arrived with metal handles and I was offered a significant refund on my order which I took as I needed the clamps for a work project - however every time I use them (at least several times a month - installing kitchen cabinets - I am reminded of their inferior design and quality

Answer:	Slide the clamp head toward the fixed end with the item to be clamped between the two. Pivot the handle toward the bar and tighten as needed. To release, loosen the handle, pivot the handle away from the bar and slide the head along the bar.

Answer:	1. You might want to call Jim LuleyJim Luley, Manager of Product Development for Pony Tools, Inc., the manufacturer of the clamps (312) 924-0071. He explained to me how to unjam the clamps. Very nice guy.2. Put the clamp on the bench, with the rail in the air. Unscrew the handle (counter clockwise) as far as it will go. Do not cinch it down - not even snug. Just unscrew it until it stops. Hold the rail in your weak hand, take a mallet in your strong hand, and give the handle a sharp rap in the direction away from the rail. Hope I was able to explain it properly. If confused by my narrative, give Jim a call.

Answer:	While I prefer the look of the maple the fact is the rubberized handles provide a better grip. This is especially important if your hands are wet - as is often the case when you are trying to clean squeeze out with a damp rag during clamping. The new clamps are rubber but you can still pick up the maple handled ones here and there.

Answer:	There are many more variations among bar clamps than appear from just looking at the pictures. "Lightweight" indicates a less sturdy clamp for lighter weight pieces and crafts. "Heavy Duty" clamps may look the same in photos but are much sturdier and can be used to clamp large pieces of furniture and countertops. Prices vary according to sturdiness, size and company. Surprise, Chinese made items are the cheapest. Good quality German clamps more expensive. Buy them individually to suit your needs.

Answer:	Dear Customer, the length of leg is 14cm (5-1/2"), the width is 15/16" , the thickness is 5/8".
Question:	What is the thickness and width of each leg of the square? Not the length, which is 140 cm, but the other dimensions
Answer:	The original, Pony Cabinet Claw was based on the famous, Jorgensen Handscrew design, as seen on the Jorgensen adjustable handscrew. Those Cabinet Claws had the plastic handles. They were outstanding in performance. The current offering is based on the C Clamp design, only with smaller handles. After having owned and used both, we prefer the original design in this application of aligning and joining face frames of cabinets. The original Pony Cabinet Claw Jorgensen Handscrew is better suited to the task than the current Pony Cabinet Claw C Clamp design. Pony Jorgensen shut down for a time in 2016. They are back now. Let's hope someone will come to their senses and go back to making this as a wood working tool as opposed to a hobby tool. The originals are worth the price difference if that's the issue of cutting manufacturing costs to save money at the expense of quality.
