Answer:	Pressure gauges are not necessary if you have some sort of gauge in your air system allowing you to adjust the air pressure. However, having a gauge at the gun will allow better and more consistent control of pressures recommended for the products your spraying, which will help you with achieving the desired results.
Question:	Would this be good to paint a car
Answer:	I bought this to spray primers and it works very well for that task but for bases and clears I'm not sure how it would do. I wouldn't recommend it simply because of the fact that it has a 1.7 mm tip which is too large for bases and even clears so if you do decide to go with this brand gun I'd suggest going with a 1.4 mm tip. I personally own a Finnex FX3000 with 1.4 mm tip to spray base and clear coats and I LOVE that gun. Works great, sprays smooth and the design is awesome, very comfortable in the hand.
Question:	Has anyone used this unit for kitchen cabinet refinishing with Latex Cabinet Paint
Answer:	With the nickel finish you'll generally want paint with thinner, otherwise stuff gets gummy on the inside, use thinner and clean well and you'll be golden. On long work projects I recommend cleaning after 60-90 minutes of use then resuming.
Question:	I plan to paint kitchen cabinets using oil base or alkyd enamel. is 2.0 mm the proper size for this paint
Answer:	I used to use a 1.7 and I would thin latex paint for kitchen cabinets. Makes for a little bit of a finer finish but the 2.0 would work great. Something to consider though, with the experience I have had using over the years with these sprayers they work great, no complaints BUT I recently upgraded to an airless sprayer (a Graco unit from Home Depot). It's definitely a little more expensive on the front end but if you plan to spray anything including kitchens with a little frequency it cut actual spray time down significantly. It took a tenth of the time to spray the same sized kitchen with our graco unit vs the neiko. Good luck!

After using the latex paint (or oil paint), put the corresponding thinner in the container, then install the container on the product, and perform a similar operation as spraying to properly clean the container (The purpose is to clean the remaining paint in the containers, pipes and nozzles). Then remove the container and clean.

Full Adjustment:

The desired pattern and fine atomization can be easily obtained by regulating the Pattern Adjusting Knob and Fluid Adjusting Knob.



-Pattern Adjustment: Turn the Pattern Adjusting Knob to the right until tight which will make spray pattern round, or turn left to make spray pattern ellipse.

-Fluid Adjustment:Turn the Fluid Adjusting Knob clockwise which will decrease the volume of fluid output and counter-clockwise will increase fluid output.

Question:	can someone tell me where the little rubber o ring fits. I just got sprayer, unscrewed small tip, then inside nosal ,and found shreaded o ring
Answer:	The O ring goes on bottom of the threads around the tip.
Question:	Is this one good to paint house and cars
Answer:	Good for cars, house paint is typically too thick to go through this type of spray gun. A pressure feed spray gun setup would be more suitable for house paint.
Question:	I bought the 1.4mm nozzle. Where can I find other nozzle sizes for this spray gun
Answer:	While tips appear generic they are not all the same. Notice in the pictures that the air cap(silver cap on end) does NOT have a black ring between it and the gun. That means the needle is a different length(shorter). I found that most generic guns have a black plastic ring and they are what I would consider generic guns. This is one of the few I have found without the black ring. I have this gun and it is fine but I am having trouble finding a 2.0mm needle. I bought one and it didn't work but did work on another gun I have with the black ring. I also went and bought another gun with 1.4, 1.7 and 2.0 as well. Now I have a 1.4, 1.7 and 2.0 gun along with the 2.5 if I ever needed it.

Answer:	Yes, you can. I did this from the minute I got it out of the box. It’s a standard 1/4” threaded opening, so any 1/4” quick connect will work

Question:	what size air compressor do i need for this gun
Answer:	We have a 90 gallon compressor tank at work multiple manifolds and outlets set to 120psi. I also purchased a regulator and attached it to the spray gun.

Before First Use

NOTICE: Before first use, clean the

Spray Gun thoroughly.



If not removed, the material used for testing and corrosion prevention will contaminate paint.

Spraying Technique

CAUTION: DO NOT STOP WHEN SPRAYING.

Spraying materials will start to set and dry.as soon as they come in contact with the air.





They will cause a permanent clog if not cleared.immediately.If discontinuing spraying for more than half an hour, turn off the air supply, disconnect Cup from Gun Body and thoroughly rinse Cup and Gun Body with fresh, clean water.

Paint Preparation and Filling

Note:Proper paint mixture is essential. Follow the manufacturer’s directions. Most paints will spray easily if they are thinned properly.

1. Thread the Cup to the Gun Body and tighten until the Cup is securely in place.

2. Thin the paint according to manufacturer’s directions and mix thoroughly.

3. Carefully strain the paint through a paint strainer or a piece of cheesecloth.
