Question:	Can the translucence be varied easily by amount of application? I need a very light, foggy coating for glass
Answer:	I don't think it would be easy to get a UNIFORM light coat. The first coat is blotchy with gaps. To get it uniform may take 2-3 light coats. By then it is pretty thick, but still lets plenty of light through.

Answer:	Yes It is... I wash a glass in warm water and nothing has faded it

Question:	Can this be used on clear light bulbs
Answer:	I only used it to decorate a bathroom mirror, but I see no reason why you couldn't spray it on clear light bulbs if you wanted the bulbs to have a frosted, opaque appearance. My only concern would be how the spray paint would hold up to the heat from the bulb, especially if it were a higher wattage bulb. I have never used this product in situations where it would be subject to higher than ambient heat.

Answer:	The spray scraped off very easily. I barely bumped the jars together and the paint scraped off.

Answer:	The instructions say it will come off with paint remover. It is suppose to stand up to normal window cleaners. Thus far our Windows are fine. I am not sure what the oil reaction would be.

Answer:	yes it works on other surfaces, but make sure you are using it on something you wont be touching at all. it is like dust and literally comes right off with the slightest touch! so i wouldnt recommend it for something other than windows...

Answer:	Hello:My bathroom have a double clear glass measuring 4' X 4' (48 X 48 inches ).The glass are those with argon inside for insulation purpose but it does not interfere with the amount of paint needed.As for the first time applying this product I started from the outside first and then after getting good results I applied inside and it looked very nice.You will not find how much it covers because everyone will apply differently amount on each coat. I applied two very good coat per side not leaving one single spot uncovered and it took me one can per side, inside and out. It is very resistant to water and moisture. Believe me, you will like the results.For safe reason, you will need a respirator because the chemical is very strong and can cause dizziness. I used a chemical mask.I hope my answer can help you.

Answer:	I can only speak to what I have experienced thus far. I sprayed it on the glass panes (4 small) at the beginning of Summer and it looks just like it did when I first sprayed it on. I have felt it several times to see if it is pealing on the edges but I have noticed anything so far. I bought this product because my neighbors have the exact same door and they used it for more privacy but I have not had a chance to ask them when they did it and how well it has been holding up. I guess I will have to see how it fairs though the Winter before I can say for sure but so far it is doing exactly what the product description stated. I would recommend it because I really like the added privacy...no more people walking up to my door (sales, etc.) and looking into our living room. I hope this helps some. A side note, my husband told me that it would need to be removed with a razor blade.

HOW TO INSTALL THE VELIMAX WINDOW FILM?

3 TIPS BEFORE YOU START:

• A small utility knife with breakaway blades is the best tool for trimming film. Film can dull a blade edge quickly; and a dull blade can tear film.
• Fill a spray bottle with a soapy water solution: to 1qt. bottled water, add 1/4 tsp of liquid soap. Avoid using concentrated or degreasing detergents. If you can't find proper liquid soap, the clean water is also OK for the solution.
• Remove any caulk, paint or glue debris that may be stuck to the window.

8 STEPS OF THE INSTALLATION:

1. Measure and record the dimensions the target glass.
2. Clean the glass thoroughly.
3. Add 1+ inch on every side when cutting the film so you have excess film to trim away.
4. Peel off the backing liner.
5. Generously spray the soapy water both on the glass and the window film.
6. Place the film on the wet glass, adjust the position of the window film.
7. Using a plastic squeegee or card, begin squeegeeing the water and air out from under the film.
8. Trim excess material away with a VERY sharp razor or craft knife, leaving a 1/16” wide gap around the edges of the film.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

• 1. How to deal with the air bubbles?

Use a hard plastic squeegee or any plastic card to squeegee air bubbles and water. If you find it's hard to get rid of the bubbles, uncover the window film, spray more water between the glass and the film and squeegee firmly again. Water will make it much easier to remove bubbles.

• 2. Why the film fall off after a while?

Please confirm if you have removed the liner, trimmed the edges or squeegeed excess water and bubbles.

• 3. Can I remove the film at a later stage?

Absolutely. Our blackout film is removable and reusable. You can just simply peel the film off the glass in seconds with no mess.

• 4. Can I see outside after applying this film?

Answer:	Umm no, unless you wanna ruin whatever you spray it on

Answer:	I made a big mistake and put a super thin coat on my LED factory headlights. The output was reduced so much that I removed the film from the headlight lens with carburetor cleaner. Spray a small amount on a rag and wipe off. Rotate the rag to a clean spot and do it again. Does not hurt the plastic headlight lens.
Question:	Is it going to be stick on my car paint if I accidently paint it
Answer:	Yes it will, be sure mask off any spots you don't want to get paint on within 2 or 3 feet of the lights your spraying. Paint in light layers and don't get to close with the can because it will run. If you do get overspray on the paint the only way to get it off it to wet sand it off.
Question:	could I see through this if I spray it on a plexiglass lens for a helmet
Answer:	No.. It looks opaque and sketchy. Like if you sprayed chocolate milk on it. Try window tint film or buying the tinted visor from the helmet manufacturer.

Answer:	Hi, I tried on a small piece of glass, I think it measures 12" x 18" and it looks really clear to me, it also depends how you spray it, apply small layers of the mirror spray about 5 times or more and let it dry between layers, I'm sure you'll get the results you're looking for.
