Answer:	I used this with milk paint and the cleaning consisted of carefully washing with soap and water. I held the brush under the warm running water, rinsed of as much as I could and swished it around in a jar of warm water, changing water frequently until the brush was fully clean. It sounds tedious but really only took about 5-10 minutes.

Answer:	You certainly can. Although you shouldn't use the same brush for dark and clear wax, as it is very difficult to get every bit of the dark wax off the brush. If there’s any left and you go to clear wax your next piece, there’s a good chance you’re going to transfer some of the dark wax stain onto your gorgeous new piece that was only intended to be clear waxed. If you didn't want to buy 2 brushes you could instead use a rag and a chip brush for dark wax.

BRISTLE LOSS & RETENTION

With every new natural hair brush it’s perfectly normal to have a few loose bristle hairs, and is not necessarily considered a defect, even after prepping the brush. Once your brush has gone through its break-in period bristle loss will be nominal with continued care. Answer:	A little does go a long way, but you will need to apply two coats. If I wanted to paint a cabinet, I would buy two jars of the paint to be sure I had enough.

Answer:	This is a thick liquid...but spreads well...it says it can be applied to unfinished wood...But, I used it over chalk paint, did go on a bit darker than I liked, so next time I will use the minwax antique paste wax, when I want a lighter antique finish. Instructions.. did recommend, if using over chalk paint and want a lighter antique look...use clear wax first. Hope this helps.

Clean & Prep

Remove any hardware, wash surface with soap and water and let dry. Remove any loose paint or rust and lightly sand glossy surfaces for better adhesion. Primer is not required for most surfaces, but recommended for bare wood or wood high in tannins such as redwood, mahogany and fir.

Brush On

If primer is used, wait 2 hours before applying finish. Stir thoroughly to re-disperse any settled pigment. Use a high quality synthetic brush to apply light even brush strokes. For each coat applied, allow 2 hours before next coat.

Top Coat

Once last coat dries for at least 8 hours, apply topcoat for extra protection. Apply 1-2 light even coats, waiting 2 hours between coats.

Once primer is dry, shake can for one minute and spray at any angle 10-12" from surface in a steady, back-and-forth motion. Slightly overlap each stroke. Shake can during process and spray 1 or more light coats a few minutes apart.

Top Coat

Once last coat dries for 24 hours, apply topcoat for extra protection. Use same technique as with paint application. Apply 1-2 thin coats a few minutes apart.

Answer:	Yes, Chalk-Tique Powder Additive can be used on glossed furniture or finished wood furniture.
Question:	Have solid pine, cherry finish bedtoom set. Want to lighten to a white or gray. Will the finish loom as good as this high end furniture looks now
Answer:	You may have to sand it first, that said, I didn't think this did much to change the paint.

Answer:	This paint does not contain metal so a magnetic will not adhere to it. It is a Chalkboard paint it is used with regular chalk.
