Yes , this hanging lamp has a small rotary switch located on the plug-in wire about 20 inches from the plug end. We are enjoying our lamps(2). On one lamp we got a $15. wireless wall switch from Target. You just plug in the wireless reciever, thern plug in the lamp into the receiver, turn the lamp on. Then use two little screws to attach the wireless wall switch to the wall and you can turn the lamp on and off from the wall switch. It's great for our purposes.

Question:	I would like to use these rulers as the backing for a bow and arrow set. Is it easy to drill a hole in or are they really hard plastic
Answer:	Unfortunately, and as is the case with so many plastic rulers, there is nearly 1/8 inch of plastic before the first ruled line (marking zero) appears. I'd guess that the manufacturers are trying to keep the vulnerable corners from chipping off, but in the process render the ruler much less useful.Now that you bring this up, I may try bringing one of the set of four down to my workshop and grinding the excess plastic off so the ruler starts at the actual zero. Answer:	Yes, they are translucent. They are also fairly fragile/brittle. We got a great deal on them being cheap, but they broke so soon that this year I went with wood, and we'll be able to use those in the future as well.

Answer:	Safe-T makes two different types, and they look similar online. Some are bendy, some are hard. If these are the ones I think they are, they will bend to a considerable degree, but will snap and break if you bend hard enough.
