Self-leveling mode & Manual mode

When the laser tool is switched to the unlocked position, self-leveling mode is enabled. The laser beam will blink continuously at 2Hz when the tool is beyond self-leveling range (4°±1°).

Manual mode:

When the pendulum locked, you can place the laser tool at various angles to project non-level straight lines. The laser beam will blink every 3-5 seconds to remind you that it's not self-leveling now.

Pulse Mode

• Turn ON pulse mode: After power on, short press the button besides the power button to turn on the pulse mode. The indicator will light up in red.

Once you stick two pieces of paper/cardstock/glitter together with Tombow Permanent adhesive or Tombow Extreme, you won't be able to move it without destroying your project. So, it's no different than Scor-Tape in that respect. If you want to adhere something else, maybe something heavier like metal embellishments and the like, I would use e6000 jewelry glue (in a ventilated area) for its amazing hold.

Answer:	Depends on how bright the area you are using it is and the color it is hitting. Manufacturer spec says 50 ft. The longest straight shot in my house is just over 60 ft and the line is clearly visible on a tan wall.

Question:	why is the red one cheaper then the green? Did i miss a difference in the description
Answer:	It will blink and turn off if the gyro inside indicates that it is not level. If it isn't blinking before shutting off then it is probably defective. Mine blinks for a few seconds then turns off if it is bumped and needs to be reset to level when it is not locked in position. Although it shouldn't be turning off from minor vibrations caused by working near it.
