You'll have to add an electrical cord and plug which will hang down and there isn't an exit on the lamp's flange to provide for a cord hanging down - so you'll have to tolerate a cord bumping the lamp out unless you're prepared to cut a notch into the flange to accomadate the cord. As the fixture is designed now- hardware it and you'll love it!

Answer:	I do not know if this product is title 24 compliant. There is no reference. The bulb has a standard screw in socket

Answer:	Yes. If the old one was controlled by a switch, you'd probably want to just leave the switch on so that the pull-chain was relevant. Or go into the wall and remove the switch.

Answer:	You can, but I would suggest getting something a little prettier. This is pretty plain.

Answer:	I can't answer that, but I can tell you I was extremely pissed at the level of crappiness this company provides. I left a scathing review because of how badly these are put together, and they don't care a bit. These in general are hard wired to the electric in your wall where you'll (or have) take your old fixture off. I hope you have a better experience than many of us others.

Answer:	Yes, LED bulbs work perfectly fine, in most cases I have used 75W or 100W equivalents in the place of the standard 60W incandescent. Even two 100W LED bulbs use less power than just one regular 60W filament style bulb. With the added bonus; it illuminates the area to a much larger degree (if that is your preference)

Answer:	We used this lamp with a fluorescent bulb 23W which is equivalent to 100 W incandescent. I cannot say whether 100W incandescent would be safe.

Answer:	I have two of them and both are very dark, but the light burnished edges show the copperish color of the bronze rub finish - neither of mine look black.
