1. Light does not work at all?

a) Is the switch on the position 2? (There is rubber cover on the hard switch; the switch needs to be slid across to the left.)

b) The light only works in dark area(no other light nearby).

c) There is a round button on the light, please make sure it is “ON”. (This button is designed to work this way: long press 3s to turn off the light; one short click will turn on the light, one more click can change color manually.)

2. Light does not auto turn on?

a) Light only auto turn on when it was auto turned off the previous day. If you use remote control to turn it off last night, you need to use remote control to turn if on again. Then wait it auto off (it will auto turn on next night.)

b) Please refer to above question 1, only switch and button both at ON position, the light can auto works.

3. Light not bright enough?

a) There are keys “+” and “-” on the remote control, they are for brightness adjustment. Brightness can be 40%, 70% and 100%.

b) This light is designed for landscape atmosphere lighting; it cannot be as bright as an illumination lamp.

4. Light does not last till dawn?

a) This light has default setting auto turn off in 6 hours to save power. It has a key on the remote control “+1H”, then it can work 1 hour more based on the default setting.

b) Although this product can work on cloudy or raining days. But as cloudy day has less sun charges, if you still use the brightest and longest light, it has to auto-turn off.

c) Make sure the solar panel has good DIRECT sun charge, especially at the best time during 10am-4pm.

d) If the product worked for more than two years, the battery maybe aged, it’s easy to replace a 18650 rechargeable battery.

Question:	I have had some lights fail, so i first tried replacing the battery but that didn't work. so what is the next thing to try.btw are nicad batteriesok
Answer:	I have also had failures. Some of the solar panels have clouded up to a white haze and I tried wiping/rubbing the top with a damp towel but afterwards with the same charging time and full degree of sunlight, the after dark light up time was short. When mine failed they were also rusting. I’ve taken a few apart and noticed rust from possible water infiltration into the solar cap. Rust was on the connection to the battery posts or wires leading to the posts when I removed the battery cover. I gently scraped the rusty area with a small screwdriver I use for my eyeglasses and some charging ability returned. It’s hit or miss. I do test with a new AA battery prior to doing the above activities. The lights are nice when new, but they all reach the same state of used when outside 24/7. Mine are on 36” shepherd hooks along my walkways as well as are used on a weeping cherry for decoration during the year end holidays when the trees are bare. You can contact the seller to see if they will honor the warranty on their product. Hope my experience helps you.

Question:	Does the remote work from indoors or does it need to be pointed at the front of the light
Answer:	Yes, the remote works even if you are indoor, but you have to point it towards the device. I didn't do any test on how far it's gonna work, but on my regular usage, 6 feet from the device still works. The remote doesn't work if there's a glass (window) in between. So, I have to open our glass sliding door to use the remote.

Answer:	You should have received instructions in the packaging to show you how to select sequence and on and off position. Mine has been activated from day one for the tri color mode. Mine is inside a Chinese concrete lantern, not easily accessible to me. Experiment with it if you didn't receive instructions, you will figure it out.
