Answer:	No. You can use an LED BULB that is an equivalent to a 100 watt BULB though. LEDs are measured in lumen and they all show on the box what the wattage equivalent is so just don't exceed the 60 equivalent. A 100 watt equivalent will produce more than enough light for this fixtures intended use.
