Honestly though, I don't think the weight is an issue. What I found worrisome is the fact that the base is not level so it rocks a bit. Not enough for a bird to knock over but one of my cats, yes. I am considering putting in the garden on dirt instead of the cement patio. Actually wish i had sent it back.

Answer:	No :( But it's still a very pretty lamp. Just a suggestion tho if ever you consider buying this lamp, I'd really recommend that you use an LED bulb for this lamp since it doesn't heat up. Also, using a 40W equivalent LED Globe bulb worked best for me in terms of lighting (that is, if you want your light to be bright but also very relaxing for the eyes) and this bulb, specifically, is really durable and energy efficient.
