I'm not sure I would use in C1D1 without direct information from the manufacturer.

The handle, if you're hanging them, is long. Answer:	This light does have multiple different levels of brightness (just like they mention if you read the product description). High level of brightness is quite impressive. I don't think that the wattage is published. Since wattage is the product of voltage and current, and we know that the voltage is 6V (four 1.5V batteries in series), we'd need to know the current draw to know power, and I don't think the manufacturer mentions this value. Besides, current draw would be 4 different levels, since it has 4 different levels of brightness. And, since these are COB diodes, which is a fairly new technology, the wattage could not be accurately compared to what we normally know as wattage, such as the older incandescent 60W light bulb, or 75W light bulb, if you're trying to get an idea of brightness. This unit would put out much more light per watt than those incandescent bulbs. I am satisfied with mine. I also purchased 4 "D" size rechargeable batteries and put them up to full charge, then tried in this lantern. All seems to work OK. Again, I am satisfied with mine and feel that it was a good value for the $$$.

Answer:	60 LM is low compared to other lanterns this size claiming 400 and 600 LM.
Question:	Who ever has the 1,500 lumen one, do you think it really puts that much lumens out or falls short of it
Answer:	Absolutely wonderful for when the power goes off. And I AM a senior citizen with arthritic hands - no problem at all to grasp the top and grasp the bottom and pull gently apart to make them light up. You can adjust how much light by closing them. No latches, no screw top, really easy to put new batteries in - there is a small panel in the bottom that opens right up. Slip the old batteries out and new ones in - VERY easy. My husband is disabled and has shakey hands and he's able to turn these on a off easily and replace the batteries very easily. That's one of the reasons I purchased 2 2-packs - so we have one in the kitchen, the living room, the office where his oxygen machine is and one in the bathroom. The little folding handles on the top fit right over a doorknob, so you can light a hallway or an entire room! I absolutely recommend them as a great buy.
