Answer:	Office grade adding machines are commonly quite load because the printing is via a "traditional" ink ribbon. The only ones that are quiet use thermal printers but then you pay 4 to 5 times more for the paper.

Answer:	simple old style adding machine ,works well. unlike many units that are set up a printing calculators .their buttons are not in the same place. simple but helps eliminate errors.

Answer:	The battery which is installed works for running the built in CLOCK and CALENDAR. You need to use the electric plug to operate the adding machine though. So when the machine is turned OFF the clock/calender uses the battery power to continue keeping time (like a wrist watch). And when you unplug the adding machine for any reason...the clock will not stop working.

Question:	Are the globes interchangeable with standard globes
Answer:	I have had the experience of having the lines getting twisted. I have not had any experience with twisting shutting off my oxygen to the extent that is was shut off. Unfortunately it is almost impossible to measure the volume of air arriving at the nasal exit without a sophisticated air flow indicator. I just generally hold the nasal ends to within a quarter of an inch from my lips and if I feel air blowing on them I have to be satisfied with that.

Answer:	The cannula doesn't set the flow rate, your concentrator or flow meter will control that for you. The health field generally advises that you wouldn't want to administer more than 6 LPM through a nasal cannula.

Answer:	With Oxy tubing, you can have strong & stiff, or not-so-strong & great flexure with its attendant greater comfort. There's no question that this soft cannula is much more comfortable. I like to wander around a bit, but don't like having a long hose draped all over the place when I don't need it.
