Answer:	There’s two for each light, each about 6” long that can be screwed together, or use just one, or don’t use at all.

Answer:	I've had one install for a few months now and it stays on all night (dim + motion bright). On consecutive cloudy days, it still seems to charge enough to stay on for at least a few hours into the night
Question:	Do these only come on at night? I have a motion light that comes on day or night and i don't like it
Answer:	Yes, they only come on at dusk and stay on all night until dawn. I use the setting that turns it on brighter when it sense motion. And then it is plenty bright for about 20 seconds. Then it turns back to its normal.

Answer:	Batteries are factory installed. You would have to disassemble the fixture to access the batteries. I've had these for almost a year and they have performed well.

Answer:	I do not have any tall shrubs on my property so I honestly could not say. I can tell you we have other types of sensors spotlights position higher than these on the dormers of our home and they will go on with heavy wind and rain. These gutter lights I have only seen come on when a person or animal has actually walked in the area.

Answer:	You can, the light is on a dim mode and when it detects motion it gets brighter. I love these lights.

Question:	Is there a setting where the light comes on at dusk
Answer:	The low light option will come on a dusk and stay on as long as the charge holds up, or sun rise. Then if something triggers it the light goes full bright. I have 2 and both are set on the low light setting. 1 last all night and the other does not last all night. The one that does not last all night only gets 1/2 a day of sun light and I plan to move it so it will get a full day of sun light to fully charge.

How long does medium light mode last on a full charge

Answer:

These lamps are great...and I WOULD normally recommend a 40 watt bulb for this EXCEPT...I can't find one that fits. This is due to the hole being cut too shallow. I had to buy some smaller 25 watt bulbs, and being slightly obsessive with these things was worried it wouldn't be enough. However the lamp gets MORE than warm enough, hot in fact, and I'm perfectly satisfied with the 25 watt bulbs now. Other than the shallow hole, which I admit DOES bother me, these lamps are quality and still the best value for a lamp that size anywhere...and I have checked extensively.
