Answer:	Insoles are lightly glued in toward the heal. With a little work you can remove them without damaging the insole or shoe. I wear orthotics and they fit best with the insoles removed.

Answer:	How long have you had it out before you noticed it's not coming on any more? Try replacing the rechargeable batteries. Be sure to get batteries specifically for solar devices!

Answer:	My flag pole has consistently worked well for over a year. We are surrounded by large trees - but not sure I would call it significant. If you’re going to place it in an area that gets some sunlight I would guess it should work fine.
Question:	How well does this light up an 5x8 flag
Answer:	I have a 4' x 6' and it does not light it up very well. It does make it conform to flag etiquette. This type of light shines straight down and it is not exceptionally bright . To do a good job lighting the flag , it would have to be ground mounted fixture that would be considerably more expensive than these solar / battery lights
