Answer:	It uses a small ir blaster to be mounted on the ir of the device. I've tried to custom wire in the ir port of another cable box, no luck. Hope this helps

Answer:	Thank you for your question about our vanilla scented tapers. As with all beeswax candles they are dripless because beeswax has a very high melting point. For the scent, we use a fragrance oil that is non-toxic. Unfortunately there is no way to get vanilla in an essential oil, otherwise we would consider using the natural essential oil as well.

Answer:	I've never smelled the Yankee Candle, but the Colonial Bayberry candles have a lovely, fresh bayberry scent that I like very much. (They don't perfume the air, but you can smell them close up.

Answer:	I have bought candles from Old Williamsburg which are excellent and these compare favorably.
Question:	Is this candle a dancing moving wick candle like the luminar candles
Answer:	If you trim the wick and make sure the candle is straight in the holder, there will be minimal dripping and smoking. As part of our holiday tradition, I allow the candles to burn completely. There is usually only the wick holder and a small amount of wax left in the glass holder. As with any candle, please do not leave them unattended.

Answer:	Of course these look better lit than not lit but I find the unlit wicks to be pretty subtle, not huge or tacky looking. I guess it just depends on where you have your candles displayed. I own two sets of these candles and actually might buy a third set because I like these so much. They are pretty, realistic, and the timer function is great.

Answer:	Yankee Candle has both a holiday scented "Bayberry" candle and then the Colonial Bayberry Tapers which have a very subtle aroma different from the scented one. As I remember, the Williamsburg Bayberry tapers were not very aromatic and therefore resemble the Yankee Colonial tapers.

Answer:	No. There is no hole. The bottom of the candle is the battery door. It is recessed about 1/8 inch if that helps.

Answer:	Yes, six per package. I had mine since early January this year, not even opened, and when I did open them in late November there were 2 that were cracked and not usable. The outer "candle-like" tube is actually real wax and is not very sturdy. I would NOT buy these again, and went back to my old ones. Just glad I didn't throw them out in January when the new ones came.

Answer:	I only saw them in paks of 6. I'd be very careful - I bought mine last year after Christmas and when I opened them up last month two of them were cracked. There's a long, thin metal tube inside a wax tube, and you put AAA batteries into the metal tube. I had also bought suction cup holders to attach them to the windows, but the holders broke some of the was tubes and gouged some others. I wouldn't recommend these at all. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I assume so. The battery compartment is nothing special. Pop the lid, place batteries, replace lid and you are good to go.

Answer:	Mine was suppose to be insulated but upon delivery it wS not insulated. It was suppose to have a few more Windows also. They weren't there. I tried to contact customer service but the company, distributed, went out of business. Mine is very warm without being insulated and maybe for what you want it to do might be the right fit for you.

Answer:	I love my shelter! It does ok in light breezes. But in slightly higher winds the sides collapse. In high winds, like all temporary structures, the tent will blow away. They require the use of guy wires tie downs and for extra assurance, i use sand bags if on hard surfaces or the tent stakes on permeable ground.
