Answer:	He whole straw is about less than an inch wide 3/4, the colored part and the body. It is thick enough to hold a lot of heat. The end part is approx. an inch long. Haven't had any problems with it. If you're going to use it often, every day, I suggest a smaller one. This one is on the longer side, about 7 to 8 inches long. This description is all memory, I don't have it one me now so I can give the correct measurements. It's great for when there is no electricity for the electronic ones and its fast, simple and easy to use.

Question:	I’m having problems with the control. I set the timer on the candle and they only stay on for 5 minutes then shut off. What am I doing wrong need help
Answer:	Yes it is included on the on/ off button. Usually good for 6 hours. You turn switch to timer position at the time you want light to come on and it will turn off in 6 hours. It will repeat that pattern until your batteries go dead.

Answer:	The remote works for me at about 6 feet away, but I am not sure of the exact range.

Answer:	Yes, the front scoops down. It looks like a bit of the candle has burned down. Plus, it makes the flame more visible. I have 6 of these candles & I LOVE them!
