Question:	Does the sensor face one side? I ask because what if they are placed in a window sill and you turn the light on in that room such as a dining room
Answer:	I have 24 of these in my windows and yes, the sensor faces one direction. They will sense bright lights in the room behind but when dark outside they will still come on when lights are on inside. Have had them for 2 years and use them all year. Replace batteries 3 times a year on average so far. Have not had to replace any bulbs yet. They twinkle very nicely and are a soft glowing light. Love then!

Question:	what color temperature is the light? is it warm yellowish
Answer:	I had read in the reviews that the silver bases have white lights and the golden based have yellow lights. I don't remember having the option, but I wanted silver/white. The candles I received have silver bases, but the lights are yellow/orange. I guess I wanted the artificial look. But these have the color of a real flame.

Question:	Is it possible to get a new remote since mine is not functional? I can’t turn off my candles
Answer:	I had a similar situation with my remote candles. At first only some would come on with the remote. I have both the pillar candles and the taper candles. At first only the pillar candles would come on. Then all of a sudden the tapers would come on ... but not off. Now both are operating remotely ... on and off. I think ... maybe ... the remote has to get broken in ... so to speak ... so the tapers receive the signal.

Answer:	According to the manufacturer the bulbs should never burn out. But I am sure plow and hearth would have bulbs if needed. I am not sure if Amazon carries them. I have had mine for about 6 years now and the same bulbs.
