Answer:	I don't know what you would consider soft or firm. It is very comfortable. I sleep with mine wrapped around by neck every night for needed neck bone support. I forget it is there.

Answer:	What I did to help with the smell was to dry it in the dryer with no heat for more than the 5 mins stated (actually about 40 total). Then 24 hours under the ceiling fan. Answer:	My pillow arrived with that chemical odor. The instructions that came with the pillow suggested that the pillow would have that odor due to the packing, and let the pillow air out foe 2 to 3 days before using.

Answer:	The standard will work for you as long as you don’t mind the top of it hitting the base of your neck. If you want something to rest and support your entire head, I would size up to the extra large.

The pillow might initially have a slight odor, which is normal and harmless. The scent will dissipate after a short time with regular use.

To clean the pillow cover, simply remove it and machine wash in warm or cold water on “normal” cycle, then tumble dry on low heat. DO NOT use chlorine bleach. DO NOT machine wash the foam stuffing.
