Question:	Is the highest point of this lamp definitely 86 inches? I have a curved ceiling where the highest point is 88 inches
Answer:	As far as bulbs go: my lamp has a dimmer switch, so CFLs would not work. But from the reviews it seems that there may be different versions of the lamp being shipped, not all sound like they have dimmers. The height: the lamp just fits into room with a regular 8 foot ceiling. And the way the arms are shaped, they cannot be bent. I thought you could adjust them and bring them lower; that is not the case. The curve that they have is pre-determined, you can only "spread them out" sideways to adjust the light.
