Answer:	I tried to unplugged/plugged back in. It does not even turn the light back on by itself, so you have to repress the power button by yourself.
Question:	What is the top brightness levels in Lux or lumen
Answer:	I got this particular lamp from Walmart, not Amazon. I need a very bright, white light fir hours of school work. This does not fit the bill for that!, At the highest levels, neither the bright or white are high enough. If I wanted what is the equivalent to a night light i would get a night light, which is morr like what the lower levels are. The poster who said it is about 75w has a good estimate, definitely not a "bright /white".

Answer:	Yes. The power adapter AC/DC can be plugged into a surge protector. Not sure why why you would want to do this as the adapter protects the lamp and the adapter is rated at 240 V/AC unless you have a multiple outlet surge protector.
