Answer:	It’s possible it’s in test mode. Normally all motion activated devices will run a test phase upon initial use. There should be some toggle switches on the back to adjust the duration o time to remain on once activated by motion.

Answer:	On the back it has a dial you can set for 1-2-5-10-or 20 minutes. These are the only options it gives you. Great product for the price.

Answer:	Mine is in the kitchen and it will turn on, even if the main kitchen and dining room lights are already on. It doesn't seem to be as sensitive to moving bodies when the lights are already on. It's range is reduced. In the dark of night, I believe the sensitivity of sensor increases. Because someone walking into the living room 20 feet from the device, will trigger it on. In the day time, that doesn't happen. You have to be in the kitchen to trigger it. If you have pets walking around at night, they will most likely trigger it.

Dual-band routers allow you to connect many devices without "congesting" the airwaves. Some wireless adapters, gaming devices (like xbox or playstation), personal entertainment equipment and network bridging devices will use the higher 5GHz frequency to connect to your network, thereby leaving the more common 2.4GHz band open for laptops, tablets and pc's with wireless connection. Question:	What are the settings to keep the light on for the maximum amount of time? Mine goes off after about 10 seconds
Answer:	There's a little dial on it labeled "Time". When I got mine the dial was turned down to the shortest time setting. If I remember correctly you turn it clockwise for more time.

Answer:	After installation. Turn LUX knob clockwise to the maximum (SUN). Turn the time knob anti-clockwise to the minimum(-). Turn on the power, the sensor will electrify and warm up, 30 sec later the item will enter the calibrating state. 5-10 seconds after the light goes out for the first time it begins sensing, and the system should be in a working state. Turn the LUX knob anti-clockwise to the minimum. If it is tested below 3LUX, the light should go out after the time knob setting has elapsed, but if you cover the detection windiw with an opaque object (towel etc.) the light should come on. Under the condition of no motion detection the light should go out within the time knob setting. Example: For dark closet setup, turn the LUX knob to full minimum. Turn the time setting to how long you wish the light to stay on between motion detection.

Answer:	Yes, select the Tools menu at the top, then select schedules on the left. I setup two schedules - 11PM to 11:59 and 12AM to 5AM. I'm not sure that is necessary, but when I was setting this up I was having trouble with one going from before midnight to after midnight. Then you select Advanced at the top and Access Control on the left. Add policy's that block all access for the IP addresses you want to block using the schedules you previously created. You also have to select Tools at the top and Time on the left and turn on automatic time configuration. Check Enable NTP Server and select a server. You also need to select Setup at the top and Network Settings on the left. Scroll down and click the reserve link for each device you want to control, otherwise the assigned IP addresses can change and the device will still be able to connect. Good Luck. Works for me. Kids don't like it though.

Answer:	Yes, you can but a new power supply from just about anyone. Its a common 12V 1000ma power supply. Search for a DC12V 1A Ul-Listed Switching Power Supply and you will find many that will work. Like the other guy said, you may have an extra one or two around the house as this one is common.

Answer:	I would recommend that you don't do that. I used them in my kitchen under the cabinets. The steam from the rice cooker and pots on the stove made them inoperable in only 4 to 5 months.

Answer:	Depending on what network dependent applications were in use, I would say no more that 10-12 at the most. I also have a WRT400N, and it can handle about 8 connections with active content streaming. Anything more and it buries the CPU and memory.
