Question:	Does this plug into a socket
Answer:	you need to use the screws, that comes with it. Screw in two of them space 12" ? apart into the metal rail template. I did not add junction box, i used their bottom flat ceiling plate that came with the unit. Ran the wires down into center of flat celling plate hook them up to the rail wiring and then installed . The unit slides over the template. hope that helps

Question:	is it possible to get much shorter cord, approx 1.5-2 ft? I do not mind to buy it as a separate item
Answer:	I had the same question and just now tested. If you use a smart plug, when you turn the smart plug off (and therefore the spotlights), the smart plug will not turn the light back on, just the power to the light. So basically, unless there is a way to change settings I can’t find, you cannot control this device with a smart plug (you have to turn it on with the remote or button after you turn on the smart plug.) Total bummer. I can’t see why it is engineered this way.

Answer:	Check the online description thoroughly. The ones that come with the kids are warm light as I recall (unless my electrician change them all out because he knows I like warm light only).

Question:	Can i use led bulbs
Answer:	It says in the description it takes 4 x 50watt bulbs max. So effectively it can take up to 200watts of bulbs. Watts is just a measure of how much electricity a bulb uses. Higher watt bulbs you use higher your electricity bill will be has nothing to do with how bright they are since a 12watt LED bulb produces the same amount of light as a 40watt halogen bulb.Lumens is the measure of light and is what your looking for. Without going into much more detail the fixture takes gu10 bulbs which come in many different brightness and watt combos which I'm positive will be bright enough for what your looking for. They even make dimmable bulbs which change brightness if the fixture can take those bulbs. Best advice go to your local hardware store if you dont quite understand and tell them what you have what type bulbs you need and how bright you want them.

Answer:	I just installed these on 3/21/21. They are NOT dimmable. If you turn down your dimmer very slowly you may see a slight dimming. Trying to get them to actually dim results in them strobing.

Answer:	You can install the track with the base very close to the end. You can have @ 82 inches of track extending out from the base if you install it that way.
Question:	i have a window valance box 5 inchs deep are there heads small enogh to not show below the box
Answer:	You should not putter higher wattage bulbs in but you can buy brighter LED lights with lower wattage.
Question:	Will this fit in a lightolier track
