Answer:	You can customize lighting from bright-full-on to completely dark for eight different 3-hour time blocks. So, if you work the late shift, you can set your light to come on at 6PM or 9PM and go off or go dim at midnight (12AM) or 3AM - totally customizable. I love that I can bring the lights on dim first 3 hours, then lighter, then full on, then dimmer, then off so I don't startle my fish, LOL. I also like that you can adjust the number of white, red, green and blue led bulbs that come on, so you can have a reddish, bluish, or greenish hue to the lighting at beginning or end of your day, then full brightness for two 3-hour periods (6 hours total for live plants).

Answer:	Mine have been very durable, I have dropped mine several time and they still function. I gave a few to a friend who does air frame inspections for a living. He advised that they are durable because of the numerous times he has dropped his. The only down side to theses flashlights are that they get very warm if left on for a long period of time.

Answer:	Sometimes performance will be improved if you sandpaper both terminals of the battery and the metal part (hard to get to) of the flashlight that contacts the positive battery terminal. You will have to makeup some tool to get to it, such as a drill bit with sandpaper attached(with a small rubber band) to the end .
