Answer:	The mounting screws come with the fan. Your fan needs to come with a switch housing cap in order to be able to change or add a light kit to the fan. The screws that attach this cap to the fan are used to attach the light kit to the fan. So on how your fan switch housing cap gets attached is how many screws you would have.
