Answer:	The description by the manufacturer is IMO rather misleading as it states that the "wire is waterproof". Personally, I'd recommend not using them outdoors.

Answer:	The timer works on mine. Once you turn on the lights and set it exactly as you want, press timer button. The lights will blink once to show that the timer is on. They stay on 6 hours, turn off for 18 hours and then come back on for 6 hours every day. Do not push any other buttons or make any other changes once you push the timer button. The pause button on our TV remote was changing the lights to flash on one set because we had the battery box near the TV ....so the timer did not work. I moved the battery box away from the TV and reset the lights and pushed the timer button and the timer is working on that set too.

Question:	Is there a switch i have to turn on? the light lit up as soon as i put the batteries in, but i can’t get it to activate again
Answer:	There are no switches on the lights. In normal use, the lights only switch on if their surroundings are dark. The built in light sensor is also designed to turn off the light if no movement has been detected for 15 seconds. Leave the light in a dark location, walk away and return in about 20 to 30 seconds. If the light is working, it should turn on.
Question:	Maybe I’ve missed it however, how do you take the light down once it’s up to change the batteries
Answer:	The light comes with a magnetic strip with an adhesive backing. Pull the protective covering off the magnetic strip and stick the strip where you want to position the light. The light is then placed on the magnetic strip to hold the light in place. To change the batteries, pull the light off the magnetic strip, replace batteries; then place the light back on the magnet.
Question:	What size battery and how many are needed per unit
Answer:	Thank you for your question. Each unit needs 4 x AAA batteries
Question:	So they don't turn on if there is any other light? I'm looking for supplemental light for my kitchen
Answer:	In order to save battery life, the LED lights will only turn on if motion is detected and the surroundings are dark. If you have already bought the lights and are not satisfied feel free to reach out to us and we will give you a refund.

Answer:	We recommend Duracell Alkaline batteries (these are standard Duracell batteries). These batteries last the longest. Eco friendly or rechargeable batteries are not recommended because they have less power.
