Answer:	This light fixture is attached and hard-wired to a circular electrical box recessed into the ceiling. There are two conductor wires (hot and neutral) and a thin copper wire that is threaded through the chain links to the ground terminal. Wires are connected together with standard wire nuts, which as I recall are provided by the seller.
