Answer:	Our fixture came with a five to six foot cord with a 3-prong plug. The pre-installed inline switch was situated about mid-way. This arrangement didn't work for us as the inline switch would be next to the ceiling, so we purchased an aftermarket swag kit from one of the big box stores (L----) for less than $13.00, that included a 15 foot cord, a 12 foot chain, and a loose inline switch. The chain finish is nickel, not identical to what comes with the lamp, but close. We were able to swag the wiring to a nearby outlet and install the inline switch at a convenient height. It was a bit of a challenge to attach the new wiring, and we discovered that the ground from the three-prong plug wasn't attached to anything. Obviously adding a longer cord isn't something everyone is comfortable doing, but I'm very pleased with the finished product. Perhaps the shorter cord was chosen because some decide to hard wire the fixture to a circuit controlled by a wall switch.

The unit is smaller than it appears. Read the measurements and check where you are intending to mount it. It is a good looking light otherwise. You will also need the long edison bulbs for this. I used on row of the gold colored and one bright white. I mounted it over the sink. It softens the overall effect. I actually gave it only 1 star. Not only do you have to hard wire the unit, you will probably have to add wire to do it correctly.
Question:	Could I mount the junction box on a slanted ceiling? They have no pictures of the base
Answer:	There is no real base included in this package. You get bare wires. The light is nice: BUT not as large as the pictures seem to represent. The wiring is also short if you run it along the top and then along the chains to the junction box. Plenty of length is you just run the wire straight from the light to the box. Not as clean a look. This is a really nice design, but it falls short in size and wiring length.
Question:	Is there replacement bulbs that can be bought
Answer:	This does not come with bulbs. You have to purchase them on your own. It takes four bulbs. Just do a search for the T10 bulbs with E26 base. These are the long tube looking bulbs.

Question:	Can this be used outside under a covered patio
Answer:	I'm pretty sure it's not outdoor rated. Even in a covered space you would want a fixture rated for outdoor use.
Question:	Can this be hung as a semi-flush mount? What is the shortest cord length
Answer:	I shortened the wire on mine and trimmed the chain making it a (long) semi-flush mount. I think I probably have 4" of wire/chain and it looks and works good.
Question:	Is it dimmable
Answer:	It is dimmable with dimmable lightbulbs and a dimmer switch wired into the wall switch.
