Question:	How much of a square footage of my backyard will one fan cool
Answer:	I would estimate approx 150 sf area
Question:	Will the plug fit into an outdoor outlet that has a hinged cover over it? (I read about another fan not fitting into the outdoor outlet
Answer:	Depends on the size of your box. It doesn’t fit in ours because we have something else plugged in as well. But keep in mind you CAN’T use an extension cord with this fan! It will not reset the breaker if you plug it into an extension cord. We were confused by this and tried several cords then read right on the fan cord you can’t use one.
Question:	Does the fan oscillate slowly, as a ceiling fan on low
Answer:	Hello, The speed on our lowest speed can be comparable to a ceiling fan on low. The oscillation is the back and forth movement. This movement is slower as well. I would say it is a standard oscillation speed. We have passed all of the safety standards and these standards require specific speeds for ALL fans. This is a 55 watt motor (the largest of all our styles). This fan is also height adjustable. I know I have answered more of the question but I hope this was helpful.

Answer:	The height of this fan adjusts from 38"-50" tall.
Question:	Does is have a down rod option (24 inches) -we have a pitched ceiling
Answer:	There is no lower rod of this size not yet. We have 2 downrods with sizes of 9.8 inches and 4 inches.
Question:	How is best to clean this glass and silver fan
Answer:	The glass sheet at the bottom is removable and can be wiped directly with a cloth. Note that when wiping, you need to cut off the power to prevent electric shock.

Answer:	Not very quiet, but fairly quiet. Love the timer feature.

Answer:	The Island Breeze is 78 inches high at the top of the fan with a 26 inch diameter oscillating fan, and a 13 gallon water tank that allows your 8 hours run time.

Answer:	This fan is purchased for outdoor use most of the time however it can be used indoors for warehouses, loading docks, TRX workout facilities and many different industrial applications where worker heat stress is an issue.

Answer:	It is not battery operated and is very tall, six feet tall. It does have a self contained thirteen gallon water tank at the base, and three wheels, one locking, to move it or lock it in place.

Question:	Can you use LED bulbs and is the fixture dimmable
Answer:	When you turn it on with the wall switch the fan and light will return to whatever settings had been made previously (with the remote control). These variables can only be controlled with the remote. The remote control comes with a wall-mount bracket, which I placed next to the wall switch. But usually I put the remote where I can reach it from bed. I turn off the light with the remote when I retire and turn it on again in the morning from bed. Then I turn it off at the wall switch, so I can turn it on as I enter the room in the PM. I also have a Minka Aire ceiling fan that works in exactly the same way.

Answer:	it moves quite a lot of air. if you put it at the bottom of a staircase and have a door open, i could see it doing that. the problem is then the draw, where is the air coming down into the basement from that will replace the air you are moving up? if it's from the same staircase then I could just see a loop.
