| Answer: | I had the same problem. I called Hunter Fans First, they had me try turning the light on/off repeatedly, but that didn’t help. Then Hunter fans sent me two new lightbulbs because they said sometimes the warehouse makes a mistake and puts the wrong kind of lightbulbs in the box. The new lightbulbs didn’t help. Then I had my husband buy two new dimmable lightbulbs, and that still didn’t help. I had given up all hope until I read some of the other answers. I tried tall2020’s fix & IT WORKED! Thank you tall2020. I’m not sure if the new lightbulbs helped or not. Below are the steps (copied from tall2020). 1. Turn light switch off and back on 2. Within 3 minutes, hold down the fan off button while pressing the light button twice ( if the problem is not correct you can repeat process up to 5 times) |

| Answer: | No, the blades are made of a very strong kevlar / fiberglass composite to keep them from bending down over time (blades are very long). The blades have a really nice, great quality mounting bracket system wherein the blades mount to the housing flat but the blades have a crease that bends the blades down to collect and then push the air down. This is a very high quality fan that you will really appreciate as you are installing it. |

| Answer: | Hi, I'll copy/paste what I wrote in my review: I replaced with this: Hyperikon A19 Dimmable LED Light Bulb, 9W (60W Equivalent), ENERGY STAR Qualified, 4000K (Daylight Glow), CRI90+, 840 Lumens, Medium Screw Base (E26), UL-Listed, 4-Pack But of course those only come in 4 packs, so you'll need 3 packs for the 9 lights that this thing takes. Oh, and the bottom glass bowl will "just barely fit" when using these regular size bulbs. |

| Answer: | I only habe only a 14-2 line to ceiling, so needed to wire directly into receiver...95% of the time I use only the uplight feature that I already have dimmed to a desired setting and just turn the switch on and off at the wall to turn light on...the receiver stores whatever settings you have, so if you have uplight and downlight on, and fan running, then receiver will remember that setting, so you can just turn on/off at wall switch. You can bypass the receiver, but you would need a 14-4 wire arrangement since you would need a seperate pwr line to uplight, and downlight, and fan. Then have to buy dimmer switches and fan speed controls for each one...not sure how you would switch fan direction without adding another two pwr lines and switches, so it would be 14-6 wire arrangement... Lots of work, then if you are mounting on a cathedral ceiling, most likely you will have a 3 to 5 foot rod to snake 7 wires and grd thru which could be difficult. Better off just mounting remote on wall with holster, or keep remote on a table, what can be easier? Then you have the best of both world, you can have power sw on wall turn fan/light on and off at a pre-programmed setting; then you can change it with the remote |

| Answer: | Another website that gives very thorough Ratings and Reviews said this is one of the brightest ceiling fans they ever tested - giving out more light than nearly every other ceiling fan. Extremely high Efficiency Rating, too, with a desirable DC Motor. As well as a high Performance Rating. Uplight gives 52 Watts of light; Downlight, another 65 Watts = Total of 117 Watts. Highest I could find. And LED bulbs can definitely be used - so long as you make sure they are Dimmable. The ones that are not will either turn off prematurely as you dim them, or start to flicker. This ceiling fan is now shipped with Dimmable LED Bulbs as standard - but I could not find any in stock anywhere I looked (Part No: CF995BS01 for Brushed Steel, or CF995VNB01 for Venetian Bronze). I think it's a beautiful ceiling fan! My previous one was absolutely horrible - almost no light output at all. This is quite heavy and might require two people to safely lift it in place. For the brightest light output, the Brushed Steel might be a better choice because the globes are white glass (not off-white, or antique-looking). Specs and Part Numbers were confirmed by calling Emerson. BTW, you can eliminate the upper decorative "Motor Coupler Cover" if you do not like that modern "Four Rod" look. It is not integral to the installation. |
