Answer:	There is a switch mounted on the fan housing to switch from summer ( counterclockwise) to winter (clockwise). There is a receiver wire on the fan. There is a cordless control that turns fan up and down and the light on or off. I recommend you mount the control on the wall near the doorway so it is easily accessible Mine gets lost in bedclothes or falls off the bed. It is a really nice looking fan and moves a lot of air. The light is not particularly bright but works if you aren’t using it to read. Recommend it !

Question:	what is the blade material
Answer:	The Cayuga ceiling fan comes with a remote control (it is a remote only fan) and therefore should not be operated using the wall switches. The wall switch would be left in the on position and everything is operated by the handheld remote.
Question:	My fan came with a broken globe that fits over the lights. How can I replace this without sending the whole fan back
Answer:	Yes it does.
Question:	Can you wire the light separate from the fan, thus using two wall switches for total control
