Answer:	If I could find the directions (we are in the process of a major move) I would tell you for sure but looking over this handy little portable, I would say offhand that it charges like a phone from the computer or outlet. There is no slot for a battery, just several USB, card and round ports. Also a small window for charge/power. Another indicator it's charged by power cord.

Answer:	Hi - This fan does not oscillate from side-to-side, the pivot feature just allows you to direct the airflow up and down manually. Great fan - mine runs 24/7 in a garage and does a great job.
Question:	What are led diodes. Are they hard to find when it comes time to replace them
Answer:	I had this happen to mine as well, but it happened straight out of the box! I contacted the company through Amazon and they sent a replacement, which worked for a year, then the same thing happened, but this time it was out of warranty so there was nothing left to do but replace it, with a Vornado. No problems with that one.It's a shame, I wish Air King's quality was better. The fan is the style I want, but I would not suggest buying one after the two I had failed so miserably.

Answer:	Yes. Ours is on a split dimmer so you can control the fan speed a light brightness separately. You need to have the correct Rome wire in the wall tho. If you have the wiring for a basic switch, it will NOT work.

Answer:	The color is flat black - NOT weathered zinc. The frame on the fan is flat black as well.
Question:	Would I be able to use a universal fan remote control with this fan
Answer:	14 watt is the technical max. The underlying components are not rated any higher, according to the socket safety label. I'm sure you could put something higher in, but it could overheat the wiring and cause a fire, I wouldn't personally do it. I was concerned with 14W too but planned to just install a 14W LED bulb which would be plenty bright, 1500 lumens or an incandescent equivalent 100W i think. However, the led bulbs didn't fit insure the fan light fixture. You might be able to put in a smaller led bulb, the ones I got were cheap, probably because they were large and didn't fit in standard bulb clearances.

Answer:	The base of the fan where it meets the ceiling is 11 inches. The lowest point on the fan not counting the pull cords is the finial. It is 15 inches from the ceiling. The fan is very quiet, I can't hear it running on low when I'm standing under it.

Answer:	Yes, they take the chandelier type with the small base. I will caution you though, I did this and the brightness of the ones I used was pretty intense and the lady of the house asked me to go back to incandescent.

Answer:	It has chains, one each for the light and the fan to turn on or off and to change fan speed plus you can wire it to a wall switch to turn the entire unit on and off.
Question:	Is there an online manual
Answer:	The globe is held in place by a small ball screwed in the middle underside of the fan...So you just unscrew that, lower down the globe, and you can change the bulbs out. Then put the globe up, screw back in the ball screw to reattach the globe again. I LOVE this fan, I have the 42" in a 11×12 room and it looks SHARP!
