Answer:	It plugs into both. It uses a sata connector for power and a motherboard fan header for speed control. The motherboard connection is not required if you use the remote speed control device.

Answer:	No, power comes from computer power supply. I just looked at the box and spare manual switch. You could rewire a external power supply to work, but then you would have a expensive extension cord with many tiny fan plugs.

Answer:	You can plug 3pin fans into the 4pin headers but as far as I can tell any 3pin fans in 4pin headers run at full speed. The only 3pin fan that able to be controlled by motherboard or remote was in Fan1 header for variable speeds. I am not sure the 4pin headers can be voltage control like on a motherboard except in Fan1 header with a 3pin fan. Fan1 header appears to work just like the motherboard header able to be PWM or Voltage controlled. All 3pin headers in the fan controller were able to be voltage control to match Fan1 header speed connected with either a 3pin or 4pin fan.
Question:	So i assume corsair wouldn't be nice enough to include an LED strip with the commander pro
Answer:	Yes, which ever fan, 4 pin or 3 pin is plugged into Fan1 header will report back to the motherboard its RPM. You have to connect the Motherboard Cable into Input and motherboard fan header. Do not use the Manual Remote if you want to see RPM. Manual Remote only lets you select 3 speeds and bypasses motherboard all together.

Answer:	The math in the description is a bit inaccurate on this thing. One person correctly points out that it says 15 amps, which works out to 1800 watts. Yet in the product description, it says 1500 watts. Personally, I use this for four 250-watt halogen heating bulbs (so 1000 watts, or about 9 amps), and it works fine for that purpose.

I ended up returning these speed controllers and went with a different PWM speed controller that provided full range speed control (0-100%) for my motors. Additionally, I'm not sure how LED lights would react to pulsed input power.

Power supply adaptor

As powering multiple higher wattage fans from a single motherboard fan header may damage the motherboard, the NA-FC1 includes an NA-AC4 adaptor that powers the device directly from the power supply unit while simultaneously receiving PWM input from the motherboard and forwarding RPM information. 3-way splitter cable

Answer:	No, the Noctua NA-FC1 controller only varies the SPEED CONTROL signal on pin 4 of a 4-pin fan, not the voltage.You would need a controller that varies the voltage to control the speed of a 3-pin fan. (I just verified this with a 3-pin Cooler Master fan.) Hope this helps.

Answer:	It will barely fit on a 2" length of 1/2" copper. Mine was 2-1/4" and worked fine. Just make sure you tighten the set screw down to the point that it actually crushes the pipe a little or else the diverter will shoot off if your water pressure is high enough.

Answer:	yes, slip it on side ways so you can get to the hex nut easier . tighten it until you make contact with the pipe then loosen the hex nut a little , and then with the allen wrench still in place turn it , tighten it and you're done .

Answer:	Buy a Delta pull-down diverter instead of this one. I've had 2 of these style and they both failed. The pull-down style works better and has lasted longer. It's basically the same price as this one.
