The reason the LA927KND6 and LA950KND6 are not energy star certified is because their lens is designed slightly differently and the light output does not meet energy star's specification. Again, this is not visible to the naked eye. |

| Answer: | There are 2 types and I purchased both so I could see if there is a difference and there is. The warm white 2700 is great in lamps and as for the 5000 which is daylight this is extremely bright and puts out a lot of light for a small bulb. It does not get hot like an ordinary bulb and only costs pennies to operate. I changed all the bulbs in my house with both the warm and daylight and cut my electric bill by 3/4. So to answer your question yes there is a noticeable difference between both bulbs. |
