Answer:	They are not dimmable, but work perfectly well with "high" and "low" switch on my Sonneman desk lamp. Wish these would come with brighter light. It replaced halogen bulbs.

Answer:	Yes, as long as the bulb fits inside it. The glass was there because the halogen bulbs got very hot. These don't. I had to bend the two pins a little with pliers to put the bulb sideways so it would fit inside my fixture

Answer:	It is AC/DC 12V, LED bulbs working will with standard LED transformer, if working with some old type halogen bulb transformer it may flicker.
Question:	The label on my range hood says to only use bulbs that are marked "suitable for use in open luminaries" - do these have that marking
Answer:	The bigger issue is if these 10 W bulbs will throw enough light for a range hood? I put one in my microwave and it is enough light but it would not be if I used them in my range hood.

Answer:	I received 10 bulbs. Considerably cheaper than at a hardware store, where they sell them 1 by 1. There was no box though, came packaged in a little plastic bag in a padded envelope.

Answer:	Not entirely sure. It should work, I think, but probably with slightly dimmer output if the voltage drops too far. My main concern would be that these bulbs are not designed for outdoor lighting situations - these may not be particularly rugged enough. In general, the longevity of these bulbs are somewhat low - they tend to die within a few months or so. Since I have not yet reached that stage with my purchase so far, I can say that they are working "normally" for now. :)
Question:	My Ikea lamp uses 12v 20w blubs, but the length of the bulb is 0.2m (that is what is said on the lamp). Will this bulb works for my Ikea floor lamp
Answer:	What did you find out? I have the under cabinet lamps for ikea shelves. I don't know the size or dimensions of the bulb as they aren't labeled.

Question:	how to install the halogen 50...for outdoor uplights...it won't go into the holes and it's the correct size...should it just pop in
Answer:	It won't just pop in. First make sure you have the holes spotted. Holes are usually on the flat base. Sometimes there appear to be holes on a raised surface, but they are not the insert holes. Make sure the pins are aligned with the holes, and then gently push them in until the bulb touches the base. Sometimes it takes a little pushing. Use the bulb wrapper as a "glove" to push with, or a small cloth, or gloves so as not to touch the bulb. Good luck, easy once you get it working.

Answer:	I don't know if it will work as a replacement, but DO NOT BUY. They all "blew" as soon as I put them in the light fixture.
