14 best ispring water filtration system

Ah, the iSpring water filtration system—a game-changer for those who want clean, crisp water right from their tap! This system falls into the category of under-sink and countertop filtration, making it a discreet yet powerful addition to your kitchen.

  1. Filtration Process: iSpring systems typically use a multi-stage filtration process to ensure the removal of various contaminants. This can include sediment, chlorine, heavy metals, and other impurities, leaving you with water that not only tastes better but is healthier too.

  2. Under-Sink Installation: One of the perks of iSpring is its under-sink design. It's neatly tucked away, saving valuable counter space and giving your kitchen a clean look. The installation is often straightforward, but it might require some DIY skills or professional help, depending on your comfort level.

  3. Filter Lifespan: Like any filtration system, iSpring filters have a lifespan. The duration varies depending on usage and the specific model, but it's good to know when it's time for a replacement to maintain optimal filtration.

iSpring RCC7AK, NSF Certified, 6-Stage Superb Taste High Capacity Under Sink Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filter System with Alkaline Remineralization-Natural pH, White

iSpring

Based on 5 reviews Check latest price

Product description

As America's favorite brand of reverse osmosis systems, and backed by iSpring’s industry-leading customer support, the RCC7AK is unequaled in quality, performance, and durability. The system consists of 6-stage, layered filtration built around precision reverse osmosis (RO) technology that removes over 1000 different kinds of contaminants in order to provide the best home drinking water filtration available. Unlike some other systems, the combination of both GAC and CTO filters in the 2nd and 3rd stages provides extra layers of protection against harmful chemicals than CTO alone. It features a 75 gallon-per-day capacity RO membrane, which is larger than most in its class and provides the capacity to economically handle the drinking water needs of even a large family.

After flowing through the initial 5 stages of the iSpring RCC7 line of Reverse Osmosis filtering products, the RCC7AK model adds another Alkaline Remineralization (AK) stage. This stage is designed to restore the natural alkalinity and mineral balance of the water. The RO process effectively generates pure water but it also removes a few helpful minerals in the process. The red mineral stone portion of the AK filter adds back healthy minerals including not just calcium, but also other beneficial minerals, like magnesium, that other systems don't. The calcite portion of the filter neutralizes the pH of the RO water. And the water tastes better too. Because RO water is so pure, some people may find it tastes unnatural. Many people prefer the more natural taste that comes from the presence of some minerals in the water. Remineralization restores just the right proportion of healthy minerals.

Designed for do-it-yourself installation by most users, the entire system fits nicely under a standard kitchen sink. Installation is straightforward and all parts necessary for installation are included. You are guided by clear, well organized written instructions, instructional videos and access to iSpring’s unparalleled technical support. The system is quiet and low maintenance with no moving parts. Replacement filters are standard sized and sold at factory direct pricing. A lead-free, solid brass faucet with brushed nickel finish is included with the system and is usually mounted on the counter as the primary source of drinking water, but output lines can also be connected to your ice maker, coffee maker, etc. The whole system is backed by a 1-year money-back guarantee, a 1-year manufacturer warranty and iSpring's unique lifetime technical support provided right here in the USA in Alpharetta Georgia. With the iSpring RCC7AK, enjoy crisp-tasting, bottled quality water, every day, right in your home.

Reinforced Transparent 1st Stage Housing

Provides an easy way to visually inspect the sediment filter and view the contaminants being removed from your water. With the transparent housing you will know it is time for a filter change before a problem occurs.

Finest Micron, Layered Protection

The advantage of having both 5-micron GAC & CTO filters is that loose carbon (GAC, KDF) is better at trapping large contaminants, leaving only smaller ones to the CTO carbon block filter. This allows the CTO filter and RO membrane to function at their maximum efficiency and last longer.

Leak-Free System & Online Supporting Videos

Push to connect fittings and color coordinated tubings simplify the installation process and prevent leaking. We know that high percentage of our customers prefer Do-it-yourself installation. We are investing in video production and aftermarket platform to provide our customers the resources needed to have successful installation and maintenance.

Live Phone Support

We offer technical phone. Contact our expert support team for personal assistance in selecting the right system for your water filtration needs. Now, and years from now, we will be right here and ready to help.

iSpring WGB21B 2-Stage Whole House Water Filtration System with 10" x 4.5" Big Blue Sediment CTO(Chlorine, Taste, and Odor) Filter, 1" Inlet/Outlet

iSpring

Based on 655 reviews Check latest price

Product description

The WGB21B is a great "point of entry" filtration system and excellent alternative to the larger WGB22B (4. 5"X20") for smaller homes or where limited space may be a concern. Unlike "point of use" systems the WGB21B will filter water directly from your source. This means that water from every outlet in your home will have passed through this filter, providing up to 50, 000 gallons of clean water for the entire family. The first stage of this system houses a 5-micron high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter (FP15B). This filter is responsible for removing dirt, rust, and most suspended solids, to protect and extend the life of the CTO carbon block filter. The second stage houses the 5-micron CTO coconut shell carbon block filter (FC15B). Block carbon is more effective than other forms of carbon in that it is finely ground up carbon packed into a solidified block. This means they have a higher density than other types of carbon filters, and are therefore more effective in removing their targeted contaminants. The carbon block filter knocks out bad tastes and odors, removes over 90% of sediment and chlorine from the water, and is highly effective on organic chemicals (VOCs) like pesticides, herbicides, and industrial chemicals. If you are on city water, your local water utility must meet very strict Federal and State standards for purity. Almost all municipally treated water is chlorinated, and this can affect taste and create odors in the water. The WGB21B filtration system will remove these tastes and odors. If you are on a private well or spring, you should have your water tested. You may also want to contact our technical staff in Atltant, GA for help in selecting the best filter system for your water chemistry.

  • [Two-Stage Effective Filtration] 1st-Stage premium 5-micron polypropylene sediment filter (FP15B) captures dirt, sand, silt, dust, rust, and scale particles and extends the life of CTO carbon block filter. Using high quality coconut shell carbon and highly compact fabrication tech, 2nd-stage CTO filter(FC15B) knocks out cloudiness as well as bad tastes and odors, removes over 90% of chlorine, and is highly effective on VOCs like pesticides, herbicides, and industrial solvents.
  • [Superb Filtration Capacity] 10"x4. 5" replaceable whole house water filters can provide up to a full year of clean water(up to 50, 000 gallons) for a family of four. 1-inch inlet and outlet ports allow fast water flow with less pressure loss. Fine PP sediment filter and premium quality CTO filter not only bring clean and fresh water to every faucet in your house, but also help prolong the lives of your water-using appliances and protect plumbing from sediment and scale buildup.
  • [Easy Installation and Filter Change] The system comes pre-assembled onto the mounting bracket for a streamlined, DIY installation. Filter wrench included to make routine filter changes easy and quick. A pressure release valve allows for the release of built-up pressure when changing filters. Refer to our manual and/or YouTube videos to Install this point-of-entry (POE) filtration system at the main water supply to get clean and healthy water for the entire family.
  • [Top-Notch Customer Service] Backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. 1-Year manufacturer warranty and extended upon registration at iSpring. Lifetime customer and tech support from Atlanta, GA.
  • [TDS Note] Unlike an RO system, this system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and instead keeps healthy minerals in your water. If you are interested in a filter that removes TDS, consider our iSpring Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: With this whole house system, do I still need to install a water softener if my water is very hard?

A: Yes, a water softener is needed if your source water has a high level of hardness, usually with TDS higher than 700 PPM. Hard water can reduce the lifespan of whole house water filter cartridges. The harder the water, the greater amount of scale buildup occurs, and the sooner the filters get clogged.

This whole house water filter can remove up to 95% of sediment, chlorine, rust, pesticides, herbicides, industrial solvents, VOCs, and various other contaminants that a regular water softener can't, although it does not soften your water. It is recommended that you install this WGB21B series whole house system after your water softener to achieve optimal performance if you have hard water.

To determine which product best suits your needs, it is recommended that you get a professional water test done prior to purchase to identify the main issue of your source water.

Note: Water Softeners and whole house systems usually do not lower the TDS level of the water. An additional Reverse Osmosis system may be necessary for your drinking water. Please consult iSpring professionals prior to purchase if you are unsure of which product will meet your needs.

Question: Is this considered a gac system? will it remove pfas
Answer: It says "and the 2nd layer contains unique GAC filtration", but it looks like they removed the GAC filter from the shipping product, but left references in, making it misleading and confusing.

iSpring WGB22B 2-Stage Whole House Water Filtration System Big Blue with 20” x 4.5” Fine Sediment and Carbon Block Filters, Removes 99% of Chlorine

iSpring

Based on 270 reviews Check latest price

Product description

The WGB22B whole house filtration system is the ideal "point of entry" filtration system for cleaning up water supplies to a home or business on municipal (city) water. Unlike "point of use" systems (like reverse osmosis systems) that are installed to supply water to a specific faucet, the WGB22B filters your water from the source. This means water from every output in your home or business will have passed through the two filtration stages of the WGB22B. So what exactly do these two stages of filtration offer? Used as the first stage of defense on the system, the stage 1 housing holds a 5-micron high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter. This filter removes dirt and other various larger sized particles from the water that can clog the following filters. The second stage of the WGB22B houses a 5-micron CTO coconut shell carbon block filter. Block carbon is more effective than other forms of carbon in that it is finely ground up carbon packed into a solidified block. This means they have a higher density than other types of carbon filters, and are therefore more effective in removing their targeted contaminants. The carbon block filter knocks out bad tastes and odors, removes up to 99% of chlorine from the water, and is highly effective on organic chemicals (VOCs) like pesticides, herbicides, and industrial chemicals. The WGB22B is intended for lightly contaminated municipal water. If your water is highly chlorinated (to the point where you can smell, taste, and/or feel it), the WGB32B will be your best option as it has dual CTO carbon block filters to provide additional filtration measures. Alternatively if you are on a well water source, you will want to take a look at the WGB32BM, which has an iron and lead reducing filter - great for the plethora of heavy metals found in most well water sources. For standard municipal water that hasn't been heavily chlorinated however, the WGB22B is a great choice.

  • Protect Your Family and Household Appliance from Sediment, Chlorine, and More: Say goodbye to smelly, bad tasting water! Our system removes up to 99% of chlorine from water as well as up to 95% of sediment, rust, pesticides, herbicides, industrial solvents, VOCs, and various other contaminants. This system is installed at the main water supply line in order to treat all the water in your home.
  • DIY Installation and Maintenance: Refer to our manual and our helpful YouTube videos for easy DIY installation. With 1” NPT inlet / outlet and Big Blue 20” x 4.5” filter cartridges, the system has minimum impact on water flow (up to 15 GPM) and requires minimum maintenance.
  • Top-Notch Quality: The first stage high capacity polypropylene sediment filter is able to achieve filtration down to 5 microns. The second stage CTO Carbon Block filter is made of high quality coconut shell carbon for maximum filtration efficiency and filter life. Both are tested by an independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standards. Both filters have a capacity of 100,000 gallons of water, enough to supply a family of four with clean water for a full year.
  • Peace of Mind Customer Service: We stand behind our products and if you encounter any problems with any of our products please reach out to us immediately. We are happy to help! Register online to active extended manufacturer warranty with lifetime personalized support.
  • Please Note: Unlike an RO system, this system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and instead keeps healthy minerals in your water. If you are interested in a filter that removes TDS consider our iSpring Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.

ISpring

Based on 305 reviews Check latest price

Product description

Simpler and more compact than Reverse Osmosis systems, the CU-A4 is an excellent choice for most general water filtration applications. The advanced 4-stage design of the CU-A4, featuring a unique combination of Activated Carbon, Ultra Filtration and KDF filters, virtually eliminates a wide variety of unhealthy contaminants, including bacteria, algae, fungi, giardia, lead, arsenic, iron, nickel, chromium, cadmium, calcium, aluminum, mercury, chlorine and chlorine treatment by-products, pesticides, hydrogen sulfide and other organic compounds. You experience safer, healthier and better-tasting water, without the hassle, expense and negative environmental impact of bottled water. The CU-A4 is flexible, quiet and durable. It has no moving parts and is very easy to maintain – only requiring occasional filter replacement. spring's high-capacity, high-performance filters last up to twice as long as other filters and provide maximum water flow – a difference you’ll notice when you turn on the faucet. The spring “Twist on / Twist off” filter design means changing filters couldn’t be easier. A lead-free faucet with beautiful finish, included with the system, is usually mounted on the counter as the primary source of drinking water, but with a wide range of optional parts and accessories, the CU-A4 easily adapts to fit nearly any refrigerator or ice maker connection. Contact spring directly and speak with a product specialist, to make sure you get the right filter options for your needs. We know that many customers prefer do-it-yourself installation, so the CU-A4 has been designed from the ground up to be easy for most users to install themselves, using readily available tools. Our push-to-connect fittings and color-coded tubing simplify the installation process and minimize the possibility of leaks. A well-organized instruction manual guides you step-by-step through the entire installation and testing process. If you do run into an issue, or get stuck, our technical support team is ready to assist you, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9am to 5pm Eastern time. The whole system is backed by a 1-year money-back , a 1-year manufacturer and spring's unique lifetime technical support provided right here in the USA in Alpharetta Georgia. So, if you have a need to reduce overall dissolved solids in the water (reduce TDS) or to remove heavy concentrations of harmful metals like lead or copper, then an Reverse Osmosis system like the spring RCC7 is recommended. But for all-around high-performance water filtration, or where space is at a premium, the CU-A4 is the best, most economical and flexible choice for clean, fresh, great-tasting water instantly. NOTE: If you plan to use the CU-A4 as an inline filter (meaning using it without the included air-gap faucet), your incoming water pressure needs to be 40 PSI or below. If it is above that, a 40 PSI pressure regulator (APR40) should be installed on the input line to keep the pressure on the system at 40 PSI or below. Please contact us if you plan to “tee off” the pure water line and connect it to your fridge, as you would need a regular RO faucet along with a pressure regulator.

User questions & answers

Question: What's the advantage of this water filter compared to a reverse osmosis system
Answer: We chose this system because we wanted to have something that doesn't produce waste water. Since this is not a reverse osmosis system, it doesn't lower the TDS. We're on city water so it's perfect for us since our TDS is only around 56. Also, it doesn't remove the healthy minerals from the water like an RO system does. It doesn't require a storage tank either so we could fit this unit in a cabinet above our fridge! Everything worked out great for us.
Question: What is no pressure faucet and why do you need it for this filter
Answer: That's a great question...Normally, when an under sink filter is installed, the filter is "inline" with your water line and sees the full pressure of your home's waterline at all times...(it's a 2-way valve). So if your water line is typically at 60 psi, that is the pressure that your filter experiences when your water filter valve is closed. This is a problem, since the filter system is the weakest link in your water line, and if the filter fails while under pressure, you have a flood in your home...This filter system has a 4 way valve, so when the valve is open, the water from your water line is directed to the inlet of your filter...When the water valve is closed, the water line pressure is isolated from the filter, and the inlet of the filter is connected to the outlet of the filter (no pressure on the filter) So your filter never sees the full pressure of your water line...This virtually eliminates the potential for catastrophic flooding due to a filter failure...I had a precious under sink filter system and every time I changed the filter the filters would leak, because they were always under pressure and the o-ring system in the filter housing was compromised...This is not a problem for me now because with the 4-way valve in this system, when the valve is closed, the filter has zero pressure on it...
Question: Has anyone tested the water that comes out of the filter with a TDS meter? I checked mine today and found that the TDS was the same as the tap water
Answer: Per Josh @ iSpring 3/7/2017 - this will not remove minerals present in your city's tap water, so there should be little difference in total dissolved solids (TDS) count.
Question: How many gallons of water will be treated during a filter's lifespan, before they need to be replaced? Also, is there a change indicator
Answer: The actual gallon life will vary from customer to customer. As with all replaceable filter cartridges, they have limited space to hold the contaminants they remove from your water. This means that the higher concentration of junk you have in your source water, the faster the filters will run out space to keep filtering and vice versa. The average is about 1100 gallons, but this number may not represent your source water, so individual results could either be more or less than the average.

Product description

The WGB32BM whole house filtration system is the ideal "point of entry" filtration system for cleaning up well water. Unlike "point of use" systems (like reverse osmosis systems) that are installed to supply water to a specific faucet, the WGB32BM filters your water from the source. This means water from every output in your home will have passed through the three filtration stages of the WGB32BM. So what exactly do these three stages of filtration offer? Used as the first stage of defense on the system, the stage 1 housing holds a 5-micron high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter. This filter removes dirt and other various larger sized particles from the water that can clog the following filters. The second stage of the WGB32BM houses a 5-micron CTO coconut shell carbon block filter. The carbon block filter knocks out bad tastes and odors, removes up to 95% of chlorine from the water, and is highly effective on organic chemicals (VOCs) like pesticides, herbicides, and industrial chemicals. The third stage of the WGB32BM has an iron and manganese reducing filter - also great for the plethora of heavy metals found in well water sources. The FM25B iron and manganese reducing filter is only included with the WGB32BM, as it is not needed for most municipal water supplies that the WGB32B targets. If you are on municipal (city) water or a generally clean water supply, you may want to consider the WGB32B over the WGB32BM. For removing the common contaminants and heavy metals found in the majority of well water supplies however, the WGB32BM fits the bill.

  • Protect your family and household appliance from iron, manganese and more; our 3rd stage filter (FM25B) is specially designed for iron and manganese removal, reducing iron (MAX 3.0 ppm down to 0.01 ppm) and manganese (MAX 1.0 ppm down to 0.01 ppm); our filter lasts up to 3 times longer than greensand due to the catalytic media not being consumed in the process; the system also removes sediment, chlorine, rust, pesticides, herbicides, industrial solvents, VOCs and various other contaminants
  • DIY installation and maintenance - refer to our manual and our helpful YouTube videos for easy DIY installation. With 1 in. NPT inlet / outlet and big blue 20 in. x 4.5 in. filter cartridges, the system has minimum impact on water flow (up to 15 GPM) and requires minimum maintenance

Frequently Asked Question

It is recommended that you install this WGB32B series whole house system after your water softener to achieve optimal performance if you have hard water.

User questions & answers

Question: Dors this remove fluorine
Answer: Thank you for your question. We would really need to try a sample in order to know for sure. If the canvas is too dense it will not cut through but if it is too thin it could pull when the rolling head goes to slide through. If you would like to send us a piece we would be happy to test it for you. Dahle North America attn: Sample/Customer Service 49 Vose Farm Road Peterborough, NH 03458. Please be sure to include a way to get in touch with the results.
Question: I have a Ispring ckcic counter top waterfilter. I need a replacement fauset diverter vavle that goes with this model. unable to find it to purchase
Answer: According to the product description its capacity is "30 sheets." I measured our office paper and that's about 4mm, or about 1/8 of an inch. The description I found of the replacement cutting head for the 440 said that it cuts up to 7 sheets of paper at a time, so it might require 4 passes.
Question: Does this remove chlorine
Answer: While there is no guide to show where the blade is going to cut, on the rolling style trimmers it is very easy to see where the cut will be. It is just beyond the clear plastic clamp that the paper slides under. You can roll the cutting head slightly toward your material and see where that exact cut will be.
Question: Does Arsenic Filter
Answer: Hi Alan. That will depend upon the parts. You can call Dahle North America the manufacturer. 800.995.1379I hope that helps. OEM ONlineRick

iSpring WGB32B 3-Stage Whole House Water Filtration System w/ 20-Inch Big Blue Sediment and Carbon Block Filters

iSpring

Based on 431 reviews Check latest price

Product description

The WGB32B whole house filtration system is the ideal ""point of entry"" filtration system for cleaning up water supplies to a home or business on municipal (city) water. Unlike "point of use" systems (like reverse osmosis systems) that are installed to supply water to a specific faucet, the WGB32B filters your water from the source. This means water from every output in your home or business will have passed through the three filtration stages of the WGB32B. So what exactly do these three stages of filtration offer? Used as the first stage of defense on the system, the stage 1 housing holds a 5-micron high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter. This filter removes dirt and other various larger sized particles from the water that can clog the following filters. The second and third stages of the WGB32B house 5-micron CTO coconut shell carbon block filters. Block carbon is more effective than other forms of carbon in that it is finely ground up carbon packed into a solidified block. This means they have a higher density than other types of carbon filters, and are therefore more effective in removing their targeted contaminants. The carbon block filters knock out bad tastes and odors, combine to remove over 90% of chlorine from the water, and are highly effective on organic chemicals (VOCs) like pesticides, herbicides, and industrial chemicals. If you are on well water or have unusual contaminants in your municipal water supply, you may want to consider the WGB32BM over the WGB32B. For removing the common contaminants found in the majority of municipal water supplies however, the WGB32B fits the bill.

The second and third stage CTO Carbon Block filters are made of high quality coconut shell carbon for maximum filtration efficiency and filter life. Both are tested by an independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standards. The system has a capacity of 100,000 gallons of water, enough to supply a family of four with clean water for a full year.
  • Peace of Mind Customer Service: Register online to activate your extended manufacturer warranty and life-time free tech support from U.S. local support team. We stand behind our products and if you encounter any problems with any of our products please reach out to us immediately. We are happy to help!
  • Please Note: Unlike an RO system, this system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and instead keeps healthy minerals in your water. If you are interested in a filter that removes TDS, consider our iSpring Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.

iSpring WGB22BM 2-Stage Whole House Water Filtration System with Big Blue Carbon Block and Iron & Manganese Reducing Filters

iSpring

Product description

The WGB22BM whole house filtration system is an ideal inch point of entry" filtration system for cleaning up well water. Unlike inch point of use" systems (like reverse osmosis systems) that are installed to Supply water to a specific faucet, the WGB22BM filters your water from the source. This means water from every output in your home will have passed through the two filtration stages of the WGB22BM. So what exactly do these two stages of filtration offer used as the first stage of defense on the system, the stage 1 housing holds a micron CTO coconut shell carbon block filter. Block carbon is more effective than other forms of carbon in that it is finely ground up carbon packed into a solidified block. This means they have a higher density than other types of carbon filters, and are therefore more effective in removing their targeted contaminants. The second stage of the WGB22BM has an iron and manganese reducing filter - also great for the plethora of heavy metals found in well water sources. The fm25b iron and manganese reducing filter is only included with the WGB22BM, as it is not needed for most municipal water supplies that the wgb22b targets. If you are on municipal (city) water or a generally clean water Supply, you may want to consider the wgb22b over the WGB22BM. For removing the common contaminants and heavy metals found in the majority of well water supplies however, the WGB22BM fits the bill.

  • [Protect Your Family and Household Appliance from Iron, Manganese, and More] Our 2nd stage filter (FM25B) is specially designed for iron & manganese removal, reducing iron (MAX 3.0 ppm down to 0.01 ppm) and manganese (MAX 1.0 ppm down to 0.01 ppm). User questions & answers

Question: Hey iSpring, what is the model with the booster pump
Answer: Thanks for the question! This is a whole house system and does not require a booster pump. As long as your water pressure is between 20-80psi, the system will work fine. Kindest, iSpring Team
Question: Why would the filters be installed afer the well's pressure tank, if Iron and Manganese damages the pressure tank
Answer: I didn’t use the filtration for well water however as near as I can tell the pressure tanks have a rubber bladder which I suspect is impervious to just about any chemicals. I would want the filtration on the last stage of the water before it is consumed. I might also assume that anything that is leached out by the pressure tank and inner bladder, would then be filtered. I’m certainly no water expert so I would take my assumptions advisedly.
Question: I have a lot of silt and sand in my well water. How often will I need to replace the filters
Answer: I have similar situation. Use a spin down filter (e.g., Russo with 250 mesh) in front of this filter to make this one last longer. I get 3-6 months but I change before pressure drop occurs.
Question: Will this handle an iron level of 0.61 and manganese level of

iSpring RCC100P High Capacity, Performance-boosted Under Sink 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filtration System, 100 GPD, WQA Gold Seal Certified

iSpring

Based on 32 reviews Check latest price

Product description

As America's favorite brand of reverse osmosis systems, and backed by iSpring’s industry-leading customer support, the RCC100P is unequaled in quality, performance, and durability.

The system consists of 5-stage, layered filtration built around precision reverse osmosis (RO) technology that removes over 1000+ different kinds of contaminants in order to provide the best home drinking water filtration available. Unlike some other systems, the combination of both GAC and CTO filters in the 2nd and 3rd stages provides greater protection against harmful chemicals than CTO alone. It features a 100 gallon-per-day capacity RO membrane, which is larger than most in its class and provides the capacity to economically handle the drinking water needs of even a large family.

The RCC100P model of the iSpring RCC7 line of products is equipped with a booster pump for situations where inlet/house water pressure is low – below about 40 PSI. Reverse Osmosis requires high pressure to force the impurities out of the water. If the pressure is too low, the process will not be efficient. Adding a booster pump where the inlet water pressure is too low solves this problem by ensuring optimal pressure to the RO membrane at all times. Pure water can be produced more quickly with less water loss. The booster pump operates nearly noiselessly and only when needed. Usually it can barely be heard over normal kitchen activity.

Designed for do-it-yourself installation by most users, the entire system fits nicely under a standard kitchen sink. Installation is straightforward and all parts necessary for installation are included. You are guided by clear, well organized written instructions, instructional videos and access to iSpring’s unparalleled technical support. The system is quiet and low maintenance. Replacement filters are standard sized and sold at factory direct pricing. A lead-free, solid brass faucet with brushed nickel finish is included with the system and is usually mounted on the counter as the primary source of drinking water, but output lines can also be connected to your ice maker, coffee maker, etc.

The whole system is backed by a 1-year money-back , a 1-year manufacturer and iSpring's unique lifetime technical support provided right here in the USA in Alpharetta Georgia.

With the RCC100P, enjoy crisp-tasting, bottled quality water, every day, right in your home.

Incoming Water Pressure: 30 PSI - 70 PSI

Operating water temperature range: 40 – 100 °F

User questions & answers

Question: How long is the power cord
Answer: Thank you for the question. The chord is 4 ft. long. Kindest, iSpring Team
Question: naive question, this unit comes with or without pump so what scenario requires a pump or not
Answer: Thank you for the question! This model does come with a pump, and the pump is required if your water pressure was below 45psi. Kindest, iSpring Team
Question: can itwork off 2x 150 watt solar panels
Answer: Hi Faried, Thank you for your question. I know a lot of UV's use solar panels, are you in a RV? As long as the voltage can get up to 110 it should be fine. Thanks, iSpring Water Systems
Question: What specific part upgrades this to 100 gallons per day? is it a larger booster pump than the 75 gpd model
Answer: The booster pump only increases the pressure to the membrane to make the reverse osmosis process faster and more efficient. It does not increase pressure to the RO faucet. ThIs System includes a membrane that has more surface area and therefore can produce the 100 gallons per day (GPD). They make several variations of this same size part, but they cost more when the surface area is increased so as to be able to produce more “clean” water.

Precision Performance

The RCC100P is a pressure-boosted, multi-layered filter system that provides optimal protection against over 1,000 different types of contaminants, including arsenic, asbestos, chlorine, fluoride, lead, mercury, sodium, and more. Boosting the water pressure improves the performance of the Reverse Osmosis filter stage increasing water production speed and reducing waste water. This is essential when the home water pressure is low (below 40 PSI).

User questions & answers

Question: Would like to know how often filters need changing on avg. and how much they cost
Answer: The gac and cto say to change them once every six months, the post carbon filter every year and the membrane every 2 years. Most manufacturers say to change your RO membrane once per year. I find the suggested replacement interval to be WAY too long on this unit for me. I am burning through RO membranes, so this time, I have decided to change to a different manufacturer. I also believe the gac and cto are going to need to be changed every 3 months. I think the reason I may be burning through membranes is because my tap water has a very high chlorine content, thus perhaps it is using up the pre carbon filters, and then chlorine is reaching the RO membrane which destroys it early. My tap water has a TDS of 370ppm. One thing is for sure, these filters are not "plug and play". They require constant maintenance and attention!
Question: How much water is wasted per gallon to filter the water? I noticed the 6-stage was 2:1 (it said: only 2 gallons wasted for every gallon
Answer: The ratio is the same, 2:1. Las Vegas's water rates are $1.16 per 10 thousand gallons. If you are paying comparable rates, it comes to about 2 cents per 10 gallons of filtered water. I've been using my system for a year now and probably should change the filters. The ppm reading out of the tap is 443 and 51 from my 5 stage system. I'm satisfied.
Question: Does this filter out flouride
Answer: the ro will filter out flouride...it took my total desolved solids of 570ppm to 50ppm
Question: How difficult is the installation
Answer: We replaced our under the sink hot water dispenser with the faucet. Our big problem is access to the faucet to tighten the nut so that the faucet is secured. Customer service told us about this product and said it would make tightening the nut much easier. It's called Faucet Wrench for Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Faucet. Link: https://www.amazon.com/APEC-Reverse-Drinking-Water-WRENCH-FAUCET/dp/B06WLJ6NJT/ref=sr_1_4?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1549488589&sr=1-4&keywords=Faucet+Wrench+for+Reverse+Osmosis+Drinking+Water+Faucet Customer Service placed the order for us or you can order direct. By the way, customer service is very good. The product is made in California and customer service is located in California. The installation instruction & owners manual is well written. However, they did not offer this tool as an installation tip. Not at ordering time either, at least on Amazon. Waiting on the tool so we can finish the job. Don

Precision Performance

The RCC7 is a multi-layered filter system that provides optimal protection against over 1,000 different types of contaminants, including arsenic, asbestos, chlorine, fluoride, lead, mercury, sodium, and more.

The system consists of 5 different stages, each one designed to progressively remove contaminants and improve water quality:

Reinforced Transparent 1st Stage Housing

Provides an easy way to visually inspect the sediment filter and view the contaminants being removed from your water. With the transparent housing you will know it is time for a filter change before a problem occurs.

Finest Micron, Layered Protection

The advantage of having both 5-micron GAC & CTO filters is that loose carbon (GAC, KDF) is better at trapping large contaminants, leaving only smaller ones to the CTO carbon block filter. This allows the CTO filter and RO membrane to function at their maximum efficiency and last longer.

iSpring WGB22B-PB 2-Stage Whole House Water Filtration System with 20” x 4.5 Big Blue Carbon Block and Lead Reducing Filters

iSpring

Based on 35 reviews Check latest price

Product description

The WGB22B-PB whole house filtration system is a great "point of entry" filtration system for cleaning up well water. Unlike "point of use" systems (like reverse osmosis systems) that are installed to supply water to a specific faucet, the WGB22B-PB filters your water from the source. This means water from every output in your home will have passed through the two filtration stages of the WGB22B-PB. So what exactly do these two stages of filtration offer? The first stage of the WGB22B-PB houses a 5-micron CTO coconut shell carbon block filter. The second stage of the WGB22B-PB houses an iron and lead reducing filter. The FCRC25B iron and lead reducing filter is only included with the WGB22B-PB (and the WGB32B-PB), as it is not needed for most municipal water supplies that the WGB22B targets. If you are on municipal (city) water or a generally clean water supply, you may want to consider the WGB22B over the WGB22B-PB. For removing contaminants and heavy metals like lead and iron found in the majority of well water supplies however, the WGB22B-PB fits the bill. Note The lead & iron reducing filter #FCRC25B's capacity for iron is much lower than the capacity for lead. If iron is the main concern, you may instead want to look at using a filter specifically for iron such as the #FM25B, which is also included in our whole house systems #WGB22BM and #WGB32BM.

  • Protect Your Family and Household Appliance from Lead and More: Our 2nd stage filter (FCRC25B) lead removal filter is specially designed for reducing lead. This filter features a high capacity of 15,000 ppm for lead, effectively reducing lead to below 15 ppb (the EPA standard for drinking water). The system also removes sediment, chlorine, rust, pesticides, herbicides, industrial solvents, VOCs, and various other contaminants.
  • Top-Notch Quality: The first stage CTO Carbon Block filter is made of high quality coconut shell carbon for maximum filtration efficiency and filter life. It is tested by an independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standards. The filter has a capacity of 100,000 gallons of water, enough to supply a family of four with clean water for a full year.
  • Peace of Mind Customer Service: Register online to activate your extended manufacturer warranty and life-time free tech support. We stand behind our products and if you encounter any problems with any of our products please reach out to us immediately. We are happy to help!
  • Please Note: This system is installed at the main water supply line in order to treat all the water in your home. Unlike an RO system, this system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and instead keeps healthy minerals in your water. If you are interested in a filter that removes TDS consider our iSpring RO systems.

User questions & answers

Question: why does the title say it filters chloride but the manufacturer answered another question saying it does not filter chloride
Answer: Hi, This system can remove Chlorine which is a component of chloride thus breaking up the composition of chloride and removing the chlorine aspect of this contaminant. Please contact our office at 678-261-7611 if you have any questions. Thank you, iSpring Water Systems LLC
Question: I just installed a wgb22b-pb. do the filters have to be installed in a special way--up side down or which way up and which way down
Answer: Hi, The sediment filter has no real upside or downside and can be installed in the system either way but the specialty filter for Iron/Lead should be installed as shown in the picture on the listing . Please contact our office at 678-261-7611 if you have any additional questions. Thank you, iSpring Water Systems LLC
Question: What is the nsf rating for this system? we have lead in our city water and need a minimum rating of nsf
Answer: Not sure on the rating , but I had our water tested after I installed the system and had 0 ppm for lead
Question: Is the blue outside containers just for looks
Answer: Are you asking if the 'blue' color has a function like UV protection? I believe it's just for easy detection as the color usually represents water.

It is recommended that you install this WGB22B series whole house system after your water softener to achieve optimal performance if you have hard water.

Please consult iSpring professionals prior to purchase if you are unsure of which product will meet your needs.

iSpring RCC7P-AK Boosted Performance Under Sink 6-Stage Reverse Osmosis Drinking Filtration System and Ultimate Water Softener with Alkaline Remineralization, and Pump, WQA Gold Seal Certified

iSpring

Based on 642 reviews Check latest price

Product description

As America's favorite brand of reverse osmosis systems, and backed by iSpring’s industry-leading customer support, the RCC7P-AK is unequaled in quality, performance, and durability. The system consists of 6-stage, layered filtration built around precision reverse osmosis (RO) technology that removes over 1000+ different kinds of contaminants in order to provide the best home drinking water filtration available.

Unlike some other systems, the combination of both GAC and CTO filters in the 2nd and 3rd stages provides greater protection against harmful chemicals than CTO alone. It features a 75 gallon-per-day capacity RO membrane, which is larger than most in its class and provides the capacity to economically handle the drinking water needs of even a large family.

The RCC7P-AK model of the iSpring RCC7 line of products is equipped with a booster pump for situations where inlet/house water pressure is low – below about 40 PSI.

After flowing through the initial 5 stages of the iSpring RCC7 line of Reverse Osmosis filtering products, the RCC7P-AK model also adds another Alkaline Remineralization (AK) stage. Because RO water is so pure, many people find it tastes unnatural.

The whole system is backed by a 1-year money-back guarantee, a 1-year manufacturer warranty and iSpring's unique lifetime technical support provided right here in the USA in Alpharetta Georgia. With the RCC7P-AK, enjoy crisp-tasting, bottled quality water, every day, right in your home.

Incoming Water Pressure: 30 PSI - 70 PSI

Operating water temperature range: 40 – 100 °F

Maximum TDS: 750 ppm

  • Reverse Osmosis requires high water pressure to force the impurities out of the water. RCC7P-AK’s extremely durable electric booster pump ensures high efficiency, reliable, and consistent performance regardless of pressure variations; delivering the highest performance for an RO system with less waste water.
  • High Capacity Reverse Osmosis water filtration for safer, healthier water. This under sink mounted water filter and water softener removes up to 99% of over 1, 000 contaminants, including lead (removes up to 98% of lead), chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium, and more.
  • The RO membrane removes not only harmful pollutants but also a few helpful minerals. As a result, a standard 5 stage RO system produces slightly acidic water with a pH of 7. 0 or below. The iSpring RCC7P-AK includes an additional sixth stage - an Alkaline Remineralization filter which restores healthy minerals and produces a balanced alkalinity, which gives the water a more natural taste than regular 5 stage RO water.
  • WQA Certified System with Premium quality components ensure highest reliability and low maintenance for many years to come. Clear see-through 1st stage housing makes filter inspection a snap. Pump power adapter: 100-240V 50/60Hz
  • For indoor use only. Extended Manufacturer upon registration, support from Atlanta GA USA

User questions & answers

Question: Is the pump always on, and can you hear it. Our living room is next to the kitchen and the background noise might be irritating
Answer: The pump only runs when the water pressure in the tank drops to a preset level then shut off when the pressure is back up. I have mine off the bedroom in a cabinet and I have to touch the pump to make sure it is running. The pump make a slight noise when it start up for maybe a second or two. But after that you have to touch the pump to make sure it is running.
Question: Does this filter out fluoride
Answer: It's quite simple answer. Molecule of water is bigger then fluoride's, and that why it can't be filtered out. There's no filter on earth that's capable of doing it. The only way to filter out fluoride is thru distilling the water. Because boiling temperature of fluoride is greater than the water's. Thereafter fluoride's molecules do not boil off during distillation.
Question: I saw other brands have 10 stage ak/ph filter, is that better or just a gimmick
Answer: I did a lot of research on this topic and I can state that it is not necessary at all. I don’t know the system and the stages that the system has but it provably has a UV lamp or so, it would be useful if you are using well water os similar as it can have a lot of bacteria, otherwise it doesn’t make any sense. Your body needs minerals in the water to be healthy for you and experts says that is good to have a slightly alkaline water (ph ~8). A very filtered water would be nearly to destiled water what is not good for you in any case. I’m very happy with this system as it fulfills all the needs and expectations I had. I may say that the pump is a nice to have to improve the rejected ratio. I did a test and in my case with this system the values are 1:3 rejection, ph 8.1, EC 40us/cm, 22ppm really close to my previous mineral botteled water but a little bit more alkaline. Hope that helps.
Question: Permeate pump v.s. booster pump, which one is better
Answer: A permeate pump does not increase the feed pressure at all. It decreases the back pressure against the membrane in Pressure tank systems, the pressure it applies is not consistent. However, For open water storage systems and for incoming water pressure over 60psi, it's a waste of money. In those types it doesn't do anything to drain ratio and production speed. The booster pump on the other hand is almost a mandatory accessory if your water pressure is below 50 PSI or drops below 50F. At these feed water conditions, the RO unit is very inefficient and will not perform well. The booster pump will increase the feed pressure for ro unit to 80 psi regardless of back pressure. It will dramatically lower the drain ratio and speed up the water production.
