Answer:	What is the faucet model and make? Most faucets have a diffuser that is screwed into the end of the faucet spout. If yours does not have it then look into getting an in-line filter system.
Question:	I have a Watts 3 filter system, Model PWSYS-UF-KC3. Does anyone know if these are the replacement filters for that unit? Thanks
Answer:	There are tons of 10 inch replacement filters out there, and you only have to do it about every six months. As long as it says fits standard ten inch countertop it should work, note I have only had mine about two months so I have not done it yet. Just search amazon for ten inch water filter replacements, most are less than ten dollars, (not 4.5 inch though). Culligan has some 4.5 micron on amazon for about 3 dollars each
Question:	Has anyone else had trouble with replacement filters clogging immediately
Answer:	Not having any problems. Is it new or used? If new, contact company for exchange. If used is it the gasket? Or is there a crack on the outer casing?
Question:	Why do I need 5 filters when original unit was
Answer:	Its the type of replaceable filter media that comes with it. The 3 stage cost far less due to removing less contaminants compare to 10 stage filtering.IMO: The 3 stage is far better then the most refrigerator water filter most people use and if you are using municipality water source, the water is safe to drink anyways and the 3 stage filtering is sufficient. 10 stage is nice insurance but I choose to save the money........Hope that helps.

Answer:	I have this installed in my basement, so the temperature is quite moderate. However, the manual mentions that it is rated to work from 40F - 100F.
Question:	Can filter be installed on home main line outside replacing old salt softener
Answer:	We don't recommend that it be installed outside, however we have customer's that have successfully installed it outside but make sure that if you do it has some kine of structure around it to protect it from the elements. Yes it can replace the old salt softener.
Question:	how does this work with a Sprinkler system
Answer:	I would have the sprinkler system drawing its feed before the filter since the sprinkler water wouldn't need to be filtered making your filters last longer.
Question:	What is the reduction in water pressure after the installation
Answer:	I haven’t checked pressure drop but it does have a 10 GPM flow rate limit. We have not seen an adverse impact on the showers or other water faucets. We regulate water pressure to the house at 50 psi.

Answer:	The filter housing is the housing, nothing more. What makes the difference with this, or any other two stage filer is the filter element inside. It is the filter element that filters the water, not the housing and you can put in a so-so filter, or a good one, or a great one. This filter takes out lead (heavey metals), chlorine, VOC's, particulates to .5 microns and a variety of cysts. The list of chemicals it removes falls under "Volatile organic chemicals" which is a very long list. If I guessed, based on a very long list, I would say the likelihood is quite high that the chemical of your concern is taken out, because it takes out everything else. Again, it is not the housing, it is the filter inside the housing that counts. Use a sediment pre-filter, or a low level carbon filter to take out initial chlorine and sediment, then the PB-1 as the second stage and you will be good to go
Question:	why is there a prop. 65 cancer warning these filters
Answer:	Well, it does improve the taste but it is limited and can't fix everything. In my opinion, a Reverse Osmosis system does the best job. But I had to remove mine as it used a lot of water and I needed to reduce my water bill. I bought this and I think it is a good balance and it even reduces the saltiness of my softened water.

Answer:	I believe I read in the manual that if the filters are stopped up (full) then the water will stop flowing. You would then need to purchase this kit (assuming it's compatible with your system) and replace the filters.

Question:	is this products fit/the same as Costco premier water filters system
Answer:	The contaminated water that washes off the R/O membrane is called "brine water". This water is flushed from the membrane, routed up to the air gap faucet under minimal pressure and then dropped thru the air gap into a black tube which then drains by gravity thru the sink's drain pipe. (Be sure there are no low spots in this tube that would hold water) The saddle is basically a "u-clamp" that secures this black tube to the drain. The air gap is there to ensure that, should the drain back up, the contaminated sewer-bound water does not back up into the R/O system thru the drain tube and contaminate the system. It would flow out of the air gap and escape thru the faucet base relief hole before it could enter the system.

Answer:	On some models, the battery is behind a small rubber wedge, directly below the faucet handle. That means below the sink.CR2354, + side up. Answer:	You shouldn't, dose this then wait a day or so to dose the other product.

Answer:	Yes. The surfactant is just a wetting agent to improve coverage and effectiveness of whatever it is mixed with and can be used with herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers. This surfactant alone will not harm grass or plants. I believe 2,4-D is supposed to be safe for Bermuda but have never tried.

Answer:	General guidelines listed on the label for herbicides indicate 1/2 to 4 tablespoons per gallon. The herbicide itself may also provide some recommendations. Are you are trying to do is break the surface tension of the liquid so it spreads all over the plant more evenly. Probably not as helpful as you had hoped for but that’s the best guidance I can give.

Question:	How is the mounting bracket used
Answer:	If you have copper pipes it may not be necessary. The bracket holds the unit up and it has two holes to allow the intake/outlet water lines. Basically to lessen the “sag” when unit is full of water.
Question:	How often do you replace filter
Answer:	There is no set period of time for filter replacement. It depends on the quality of the incoming water, how much water you use, and now fine (measured in microns) your filters are. I have an old well and for a year or so now it's been pumping up a lot of junk so I have to replace my filter about every two weeks. For a while, I had to replace them once a week but that's very unusual. If you're on city water, 3-6 months may be about right but, again, it depends on several factors. This is why it's a shame that this filter housing isn't clear like previous versions. I have to just my filters visually so I can't have an opaque housing. But my previous Watts whole house filter (like this one but with a clear cannister) failed when a bit of material from it broke free and lodged in an injector of my water softener so the water softener didn't work. But I still think this is a very good water filter so I'm ordering a new one. It still works but it leaks when I put it on bypass to change the filter. I'll just use the clear housing from my existing filter because they are reportedly the same other than the fact that the old one is clear and the new one is opaque white. I have no idea why Watts doesn't use clear housings anymore. With one, you can tell the condition of your filter just by glancing at the cannister. BOTTOM LINE: Nobody can tell you how often you have to change your filter. You have to find that out from experience.

Question:	Does the faucet valve stay in an open position for filling large containers or do you have to hold it open
Answer:	That's a great question! It implies that the new filters are less effective than the well used filters you removed. Possibly your action in effecting the replacements dislodged some sediment which showed up in your first sample----but more likely, I think, is that the original filters were saturated with debris such that less debris was passing through---sort of like oil filters in your car pinch down somehow and pass less debris (and oil) through than when they were new. It would be interesting if you would sample your water on a regular schedule and report the result against / time passing to see if there is a trend there which would explain what may be happening? I'm kind of surprised that any ppm would show up at all because I thought a reverse osmosis system was supposed to pass 'distilled' quality water? I'll be interested to hear what others more knowledgable than I have to say on the subject.

Question:	How do I order an additional brushed nickel faucet
Answer:	It comes with the filter. It seems to be unbranded and made specifically for the tank itself. The filter is okay but seems to have a very strong current which bothers some fish (ie bettas). I ended up not using it on either of my tanks (I have two of these) and bought some small sponge filters instead.
Question:	how much water does it take to filiter one gallon
Answer:	There is a chance you have the base stand on top of the tank. A few people made that same mistake. Hope you were able to get the answer to your question sooner than my reply! If not, I hope my answer helps or let me know if you have other questions regarding the 2.5 gal tank.
Question:	Does this model have the TDS sensor in the faucet
Answer:	We had a beta live 5 years in this tank w this filter. I bought the same kit again for another one of my children and e filter broke after a few months. I guess they don’t make them like they used to lol
