Answer:	Yes it is. It seems to be the FM-15 with chrome coating. I was sent an FM-15 in an FM-25 box a while ago (great quality control) so as I needed to use it straight away I got used to the white fixture on the chrome. I now use the FM-15 as it's cheaper.
Question:	Is there any kind of indicator on this device
Answer:	I assume that the questioner wants to know if there is something that indicates when the filter needs to be changed. You should keep a spare filter cartridge on hand. Change it out when the water flow slows down. New, the flow will be about 1 oz. per second. An 8 oz. glass will be filled in 7 or 8 seconds. Over time, depending on the amount that you use the filter, the flow will slow to where it takes 10 or 12 seconds to filter 8 oz., it's time to replace the filter cartridge.

Answer:	The only difference is the color. I have a silver faucet mount and i use the white filters. Why, because they are cheaper and you can't even see it underneath.

Answer:	This filter does not remove fluoride.
Question:	Do you really have to flush the filter for 10 minutes? Seems like a waste of water
Answer:	Yes! When the filter reaches its limit, the water flow will diminish almost down to a trickle. If that happens for more than 1 day, it's time to change the filter. Depending upon usage, you may need to change the filter once a month.

Answer:	Very easy! Normally, the faucet will dispense unfiltered water. There's a metal pin on the side (as seen in the picture) that you just pull to start the filtering. When done, just turn off the faucet and it will automatically revert back to unfiltered water.

Answer:	Yeah, I have a leak/drizzle after about 1 1/2 months. It happens when pull the rod. Regular water is fine if not going for filtered water. I took it apart twice and replaced the seal ring but still leaked.

Answer:	No reason it couldn't, but turning it over periodically, weekly/monthly, should extend the life of the filter cartridge.

Answer:	I would recommend the Camco Water Filter Stand. Part no. 40775. Available at Amazon and other rv resellers. One of the reasons I bought this filter is we don't use our rv too often and it as it makes it easy to flush the water system with bleach. (remove filter from canister, pour in some bleach, then its easy to add the bleach to my water tank/system)

Answer:	Yes, a granular activated carbon filter is included. This filter says it is good for filtering 250 gallons of water. It will filter much more but you will need to open the filter housing and remove the filter in order for the filter to dry between camping trips. Otherwise you will have bacteria growing inside the filter. We usually only camp for 3 days at a time. Then we may not camp again for another month. You could camp for 1 month using this one filter provided in the package if the water is as good as the campground water I have been using in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. I prefer to just use a sedement filter for the camper, this keeps all the dirt and small rocks out of your faucel valves with no maintenance problems.

I use only the Culligan filters in my Whole House Culligan system now. Never again will I use GE (Whirlpool) filters. I installed one in 2008. It apparently had a problem because my house lines became plugged with carbon sediment. What a disaster. Spent a long while flushing the system, cleaning faucet filters, etc. Never have I experienced a problem with Culligan filter RFC-BBSa. Outstanding. Used it for years.

Answer:	I have been using these for well over a year now. They are carbon filters. I'm inclined to say, hey carbon is carbon. Speaking as an Engineer: You can drive yourself nuts with specs. They are very similar to the GE carbon which costs much more $$. On the flip side....I use this as a whole house filter and my drinking water runs through a Reverse Osmosis system. This whole house filter radically extends the filter life of the RO system's filters. Would I drink the water from the output of a single CP5BBS ? No. Should you ? Probably not. That doesn't make it bad. It's merely a major "stage 1" filter. You really should be using a second system for drinking water. That's my 2 cents.
