Answer:	It comes with the filter. It seems to be unbranded and made specifically for the tank itself. The filter is okay but seems to have a very strong current which bothers some fish (ie bettas). I ended up not using it on either of my tanks (I have two of these) and bought some small sponge filters instead.

Answer:	If you are referring to the pH of your water, this happens after installing the new membrane. Once the membrane becomes fully saturated, the pH should return to neutral. You may also try flushing the tank as the water contained within may be affecting the levels.

Answer:	I have a 2 hp well pump rated at 15 gpm and I use these filters as a whole house filter and have not had a problem.
Question:	Will these replace aquasana's whole house post filter cartrige - same deminsions
Answer:	If same dimensions, yes. The drawback of these filters is their support in the body. They will actually twist the paper element when tightening and can tear the paper which ruins the filter. If you do not have a clear filter housing you would not know this happens. Be sure you have a clear housing to watch for this or I recommend a better quality filter.

Answer:	Sorry can't tell you what country these are manufactured in. I was a customer that purchased these, not the manufacturer. If you are wanting a reference, purchased these filters in bulk and have been using these with no issues at all. Received them promptly after ordering. Recommend purchasing from this supplier. Answer:	Depending on the amount of sediment coming from your well, these work well. I have red sediment (mud?) since having our well pump replaced. I change these monthly.

The Watts Premier RO Pure Annual Filter Kit provides a complete year (or annual) replacement supply of filters for your Watts Premier's RO Pure Reverse Osmosis System (531411) and is compatible with Watts Premier's RO Pure Plus (531417) and Zero Pure Plus (531517) Reverse Osmosis Systems. This replacement filter kit includes two 5 Micron Sediment Pre-Filters (105311), two 5 Micron Carbon Pre-Filters (105351), and one 5 Micron Carbon Post-Filter (105341). Changing filters is easy with the unique swivel-valve, push-button assembly allowing for one-step filter changes that do not require you to shut off your water source. This 5-Pack of filters has the perfect number of filters to help maintain crystal clear, great tasting drinking water with your Watts Premier RO Pure Water Filtration System. To maintain your system in its top performance it is recommended to replace your Sediment and Pre-Carbon Filters every 6 months. The Carbon Post-Filter should be replaced every 12 months. Answer:	The filter housing is the housing, nothing more. What makes the difference with this, or any other two stage filer is the filter element inside. It is the filter element that filters the water, not the housing and you can put in a so-so filter, or a good one, or a great one. This filter takes out lead (heavey metals), chlorine, VOC's, particulates to .5 microns and a variety of cysts. The list of chemicals it removes falls under "Volatile organic chemicals" which is a very long list. If I guessed, based on a very long list, I would say the likelihood is quite high that the chemical of your concern is taken out, because it takes out everything else. Again, it is not the housing, it is the filter inside the housing that counts. Use a sediment pre-filter, or a low level carbon filter to take out initial chlorine and sediment, then the PB-1 as the second stage and you will be good to go
Question:	why is there a prop. 65 cancer warning these filters
Answer:	Well, it does improve the taste but it is limited and can't fix everything. In my opinion, a Reverse Osmosis system does the best job. But I had to remove mine as it used a lot of water and I needed to reduce my water bill. I bought this and I think it is a good balance and it even reduces the saltiness of my softened water.
Question:	Would this work for the watts 510123 system
Answer:	Yes, the replacement filters for this unit state they will fit any standard 10" housing. Thus, it is readily apparent that the unit uses standard 10" filters.

Answer:	One stage from what I can tell. You’re better off buying the Brita brand or at least NOT this one because it only has two actual holes on the bottom (NOT four) so the flow is slow

Answer:	I get rid of the filter about 3 weeks after first use. It doesn't always fills the container fully after the first couple of fills, it's not what I expected I won't buy this product everagain. I rather pay a little more and still with the Brita filters those never gave me any problems.
