Question: My last two filters had water in them as soon as i opened them. i dont dare use them now! why would this happen & who can i talk to
Answer: We will be happy to clarify this. The moisture in the packages is left over from the pasteurizing the filters go through before they are packaged. Sometimes, the superheated steam gets trapped in the packaging and condenses back into water as it cools. These filters will be perfectly safe for use as they are still sterile inside of the packaging. Answer: The 3 1/4 inches refers to the diameter of the flush valve, not the diameter of the flapper. You need to install a new flush valve if you are using the standard one which is smaller. This is a high quality flapper which should last for many years. Mine lasted more than 10 years before it lost its firmness and became more difficult to flush. Good luck!

Question: How long does the filter last
Answer: Nope no instructions. I mean screwing the spikes in was a no-brainer, the straps though...would have been nice to get some direction for which way they go.
Question: Has anyone actually tested the water coming out of the filter? What were your results
Answer: The spikes are threaded bolts at the top with a longer unthreaded point at the other end. Once installed, the spikes would be just under 2" long, including the width of the nut that tightens on the bolt that goes through the sandal. I hope that makes sense.
Question: I changed the filter when the light turned red, but the light is still flashing red? Had earlier models and never had this issue. How to fix
Answer: I do not think aeration will help. I recommend removing most of the gravel, put a layer of top soil, then sod or high quality seed. (Sod is better).
