Question:	How easy is it to push the button on this carafe for someone with arthritis whose hands don't work so well
Answer:	We're still using the old filter system because the new filter has a bigger hose going from the filter to the sink which will require that we replace the valve under the sink some day to install the new filter system. Changing the instant hot water "box" took about 5 minutes. Changing the filter will take a bit of time because of the valve replacement.
Question:	Does the top “lock” for easy traveling
Answer:	Basically this has already been answered but I had another comment. First the short answer is NO. Compared to other products that run at twice the power levels this should not need its own circuit. The long answer is: it depends on what else is running on the circuit already. Based on a 15-amp breaker which is setup to break instantly at much higher values or near 15-amps if run continuously at near 15-Amps. My extra two-cents worth. Barely worth 2-cents. Is that I'm surprised the 'expert' contractor even asked you this. They should already know. Or at the least take 10-mins and look it up themselves unless they were just trying to get you to spend more money on something you didnt need. Or worse yet just don't know what they are doing. Which is probably the case. Of course from their point of view it is still a good question to ask since it takes any blame for poor results off of them if there is a power problem later. ha. I have seen simular products which take 1500-watts which is getting close to needing a dedicated circuit. Of course twice the power means it heats up faster and is better for on-demand applications where as this one has a tank included and really doesn't need the faster heat up time so long as you are not drawing more than 2/3 cups of water at a time. It would be interesting to know the real heat up time 'rate' of this item. It would have also been nice if the manufacture included a power switch to choose the power level so some kind of eco mode or smart mode. For the price Im surprised it is not connected to the internet too. yikes. Other companies offer a simular product for less than $200. Not sure it is as nice however. I just bought one myself so I will see if it is worth it or not but everyone seems to love these. I hope my Mother does too.
Question:	The interior of the Airpot is stainless steel or glass
Answer:	Power cord is built in. Its 2ft 8in from the bottom right corner of the unit when facing it. The extra one that pops up when you cart this item is likely a wired extension cable, which takes a bit of know-how to replace. So if your power jack is farther away than that you would either use the replacement cable, or just buy a grounded 2ft extension cord that plugs from both sides, which is what i would do.
Question:	what is height of this and aso the diameter
Answer:	It is the same except the filter hoses. My 2008 made SST had 3/8” tube going in and out of its filter. This one has 1/4” tubes there instead. You will need a quick trip to HoneDepot and buy SharkBite 3/8” to 1/4” adapters and sone 1/4” tube possibly as well. The rest is easy and quick.
Question:	Does the package include mounting bracket
Answer:	This one has 3 settings cold, cool and hot. The cold is good temp. Cool is room temp. Hard to determine your level of cold. But I like my water cold as well and this works for me. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes you can. There are two bottons on the back to shut off the hot or the cold. The third button will shut off the LED night light.

Answer:	The pump is part of the unit. You can use almost any 3 or 5 gal bottle, The sleeve that fits over the bottle is tapered to accept most bottles in the 53 mm to 60 mm caps. Wallmart, amazon and others sell the bottles.

Question:	Does this come with a power cord or do i have to buy one separatel
Answer:	First make sure that all of the water lines are hooked up correctly. When I first installed mine I put 50 psi in the bladder tank as a place to start. When I opened the faucet flow was real low and it stopped pretty quickly. So, I dropped the air pressure in the tank to 30 psi using my tire gauge. That seems to be a sweet spot for my system. Now it will deliver a gallon of water in just over one minute. The instructions say that the maximum pressure is 90 or 100 psi but don't really make it clear where it should actually be set. I found that 30 psi works for me.
Question:	Just wondering how big should be the diameter of the hole should be to fix the faucet
Answer:	We encourage our customers to install the unit themselves. The system comes pre-assembled with comprehensive installation instructions with additional videos on YouTube to walk you through these steps. You can install the unit during our business hours where we have technicians on standby to help answer any questions. If you still do not feel comfortable, any local plumber should have no problem.

Question:	I have an existing hot, cold faucet and filter. I need a new tank. Is the tank for the Invite model identical to the more expensive packages
Answer:	There is no connectors included to connect it to PEX tubing. You have to find the inter-connectors between these two tubing types.

Answer:	It is no problem to get pure water, but the system can not stop automaticlly ,and life time of filters will be shorter.It is not recommended.for storage tank,I am pleasure to tell you more information. 1.the Ro system capacity just 75GPD,that is 75 gallon per 24 hours. it is about 3 gallon pure water per hour. it is very very slow ,that is reason we need storage tank to keep water. 2.it is installed under sink, that mean we should charge some pressure .standard pressure is 5-7 psi, too less or too much pressure,the system can not work well. 3.it is normal if there is waste water in red line when system work. and waste water is doulbe of pure water. but it must be off and without waste water when system don't work and tank is full. it work controlled by water tank, when tank is full, the system off, when tank is not full,system work automatically ,even you don't open faucet. 4.tank capacity is 2.8 gallon, but it just leave 80% space for pure water ,and remain space for air pressure .

We ultimately ended up with a in sink aerator for my clients dedicated water source and had to eat the cost of this piece of junk. Answer:	Just to be clear, you should not be washing your hands with this faucet - that is not its intended usage. The water gets extremely hot (i.e. boiling) and whether or not it mixes with any other water, it is not intended for washing hands. Also, the product does not produce COLD water; rather, it pulls water from your regular tap, and whatever temperature that water is, that's what you get when you pull the "cold" lever - it does not chill your tap water. Again, for that reason, if you wash your hands using the hot lever, you will burn yourself. Finally, this is a very slow flow faucet, as the faucet itself is very thin, so you will not get very good pressure for the purpose of washing hands. It is intended for and good at producing water for filling a glass or mug. Hope this helps.

The dispenser has standard fittings, but all the same I would have a licensed plumber put it in, I do not relish having problems with a fixture that dispenses near boiling water.

The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. Question:	Does the control lever move backward, or forward (toward the sink)? If backward, how much clearance is needed to fully operate the lever
Answer:	The button must be held to dispense. Caution... Design flaw. There is an O-ring under the button to take out some of the play in the button. This O-ring causes the button to stick into the "on" Position, you will not be able to turn the water off when this happens. One solution suggested by other people is to remove the O-Ring before installing.
Question:	What is the range of temperature (in Fº) adjustment
Answer:	Since the heating element of these dispensers has a limited lifetime of about 5 years, and you can't just buy a new element - you have to buy a whole new unit - it makes sense to me to turn it off every night to come back on in the morning. I also turn it off when out of town, all of this using one of my home automation modules. With average use, my dispenser used only 15 to 20 kWh per month.

Answer:	The water coming from the cold side will be room temperature, or rather under-sink-cabinet temperature. We have since disconnected power to this hot water tap and our power bill went down by $30 per month. We only use it now to dispense the "cold" water. I would not recommend this product now.

Answer:	This tank is really intended as a replacement of a failed (or perceived failed) one that looks like the Anaheim,except for color and labels. In that case installation is very simple. If you are intending to use this tank in a new installation, without an existing separate hot water faucet , then the installation will be more difficult since you will have to purchase the faucet somewhere and make connections to the house water supply. For such an installation you should by a kit that has a tank that looks like the Anaheim and the faucet as well. Then there will be instructions on how to install it.
Question:	Does the pump cone with product? Can you use any 5 gallon water bottle or do you neef special bottle and where do you order
Answer:	Yes, I saw the erroneous garbage disposal response too. The AH-1300 has only a one-year warranty, although you can buy an extended warranty if you wish. Our original unit operated fine for about five years before giving out. We've had the replacement, current one for a year now, and it's still functioning as advertised. A new, replacement unit isn't all that expensive, but if you have to have a plumber install it, that'll drive the cost up significantly. The plumber will probably be more than the heater.

Question:	Does the package include mounting bracket
Answer:	I did not have that problem with mine I purchased two months ago. Does your hot water coming out of your kitchen faucet also taste sour. If not I would suggest running all the water out of the hot water tank and letting itfill back up and try it then. Or call Insinkerators support line or live chat and see if they have any suggestions or return for a new one
Question:	after several years, can the filter burst and cause a flood in the house
Answer:	Just to be clear, you should not be washing your hands with this faucet - that is not its intended usage. The water gets extremely hot (i.e. boiling) and whether or not it mixes with any other water, it is not intended for washing hands. Also, the product does not produce COLD water; rather, it pulls water from your regular tap, and whatever temperature that water is, that's what you get when you pull the "cold" lever - it does not chill your tap water. Again, for that reason, if you wash your hands using the hot lever, you will burn yourself. Finally, this is a very slow flow faucet, as the faucet itself is very thin, so you will not get very good pressure for the purpose of washing hands. It is intended for and good at producing water for filling a glass or mug. Hope this helps.
Question:	Does anyone have specifications for what the filters actually take out of the water, either for the ISE or the Franke
Answer:	Backwards away from the sink. Travel is about 1.25" back from full off to full on.
Question:	I replaced my filter and the tank began leaking from the bottom. Has anyone experienced this ? Any suggestions to fix
Answer:	I'm not sure what the temperature range is, but it's hot enough to make soup, instant coffee, etc. overall it's a great product and worth the money. The only issue to watch out for is the thickness of your countertops. If they are too thick it will need recessed which can be difficult with granite or similar .

Question:	What is the warranty on this unit? the pdf that they have you click on to get the warranty information is for a garbage disposal, not hot water unit
Answer:	Yes, plugs into standard 110v 3 prong outlet
Question:	Can you fill the tank using a pitcher of water? I do not have plumbing to hook up to, but can carry the water to my studio, if that will work
Answer:	The button must be held to dispense. Caution... Design flaw. There is an O-ring under the button to take out some of the play in the button. This O-ring causes the button to stick into the "on" Position, you will not be able to turn the water off when this happens. One solution suggested by other people is to remove the O-Ring before installing.
Question:	About how much hot water can you get without running out? Or is it quick enough return that it isn’t noticeable
Answer:	Since the heating element of these dispensers has a limited lifetime of about 5 years, and you can't just buy a new element - you have to buy a whole new unit - it makes sense to me to turn it off every night to come back on in the morning. I also turn it off when out of town, all of this using one of my home automation modules. With average use, my dispenser used only 15 to 20 kWh per month.
