Instant hot water dispensers are convenient kitchen fixtures designed to provide near-boiling water on demand. They fall under the category of kitchen fixtures and are commonly used in both homes and commercial settings. Here are some key details about instant hot water dispensers:
Purpose: Instant hot water dispensers are primarily used to quickly and easily access hot water for various kitchen tasks. They are commonly installed near the kitchen sink, providing hot water for tasks like making tea, coffee, instant soups, or quickly heating up pots and pans.
Design: These dispensers are typically compact and designed to fit seamlessly into your kitchen. They often have a faucet-like spout that dispenses hot water directly into a cup or container.
Temperature Control: Most instant hot water dispensers offer adjustable temperature settings, allowing you to choose the desired level of hotness. Some models also provide options for near-boiling water, which is usually around 190-200 degrees Fahrenheit (88-93 degrees Celsius).
Installation: These devices can be installed as standalone units or integrated into the kitchen sink, typically replacing the existing faucet. They require a connection to your home's water supply and an electrical outlet for heating.

Maintenance: Maintenance is relatively straightforward and often involves periodic cleaning of the dispenser's components to prevent scale buildup. Filters may also need replacement periodically to ensure the quality of the hot water.
Safety: Manufacturers typically include safety features to prevent accidental scalding. Some models require a separate action (e.g., pressing and turning) to dispense near-boiling water, reducing the risk of burns.
Usage: Instant hot water dispensers can be useful for various kitchen tasks beyond just making hot beverages. They can speed up cooking processes, such as blanching vegetables, and provide hot water for cleaning and sterilizing.
Brands and Models: There are several brands and models of instant hot water dispensers available on the market, offering different features and capacities to suit various needs and kitchen styles.
Cost: The cost of instant hot water dispensers can vary depending on the brand, features, and installation complexity. It's essential to consider both the upfront cost and the long-term energy savings when making a purchase decision.

User questions & answers
Question: | Does it come with a power cord |
Answer: | Adjust the big square thing on the top of the pole by wiggling it around until the lock nut loosens up and you can move the big square thing up and down. Move it down to about one and a half or two inches from the bottom. It should solve the problem. |
Question: | Do you have to turn and hold the handle constantly in order to get hot water or can you turn and let go |
Answer: | Hi, it will fit. Please check if the water fill is under the tank, it will fit. Thanks! |
Question: | How much room is needed behind the spout in order to turn the handle a full quarter-turn? Or, put another way, how far does the handle protrude |
Answer: | No, the included flapper and flush valve are designed to work on toilets with 2" flush systems. Your American Standard Champion 4 requires a 3" flush valve and flapper. We recommend the 5030BP Korky 3" Flush Valve and Flapper Kit, and the 528MP Universal fill valve. If you have additional questions or need further assistance with your installation, please call us at 1-800-528-3553. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How many amps is the pump |
Answer: | The pump runs at .22 Amps, and recommended supply current of 2.5 Amps. A standard 15 Amp wall socket is all that you need to plug it into. The .22 Amps the pump indicates maximum start up current, actual running current will be somewhat lower. Inrush current is always higher, when the motor has to start up, actual running current will be lower, example a 1 HP motor will have an inrush current of about 34 Amps, just until the motor reaching normal operating speed then it drops down to around 7.5 Amps, quite a bit lower, but the breaker needs to be able to handle the inrush currents. |
Question: | can i used without the sensor valve |
Answer: | Yes.As long as you have a return line running back to your water heater. You do not need a separate return line at every faucet. You need one return line. Follow your hot water pipe to the end (last branch takeoff), cut in a tee and run pex or copper. At the bottom of your tank style water heater there is a small, usually plastic valve. Remove that valve and screw in a 3/4" brass or stainless pipe nipple. Then install a tee inline with side outlet looking up and in the end of the tee put a brass drain valve to replace the crappy plastic one if applicable. The side connection on the tee you installed is where you will connect your return line you just ran. I did not notice if this pump had a built in check valve but if not you may want one to prevent water from flowing through both the hot water main and the hot water return to the faucet nearest the end. Water will follow the path of least resistance so the last branch on the main usually ends up being similar in distance to the water heater from either line. As a result water can back feed up the return line and will bring the cold water entering the tank with it. This is especially true when a second source of hot water is being used at the same time hence the need for a check valve. |
Question: | If the pump is on, and the water is hot, the sensor valve closes, right? Isn't the pump trying to push water against a totally closed line |
Answer: | This type of pump is designed to operate with zero flow, and it actually uses a little less electricity when it is not moving water. When the sensor valve closes, the pump does not move any water. When the sensor valve reopens, the pump moves water from the hot water line into the cold water line. |
Question: | So what this does is move the hot water through the pipes constantly, not just when you need it? Seems like an energy suck. Is it |
Answer: | If you run this all the time you will likely increase your water heating costs significantly as you are turning your pipes into a big radiant heater. You can use the built in timer to only have it come on at set periods, but this will only work if you have a very fixed schedule. I attacked this another way. I plugged the unit into a TP-Link HS110 Smart plug that is Alexa controlled. I can just say turn on hot water pump or turn off hot water pump when I want to control it. But that was not good enough for me. I found that if this pump ran for four minutes it would give me hot water at the distant shower that I wanted, so I did the following. I wrote a routine to turn on the pump, wait four minutes and then turn it off. While I can run this by voice, I bought the new Amazon Alexa Button, they are about $14 for a two pack. The button is battery operated and communicates to another Alexa device. Just before I take a shower I push the button and within four minutes the water will be hot without having to run water. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I have an existing hot, cold faucet and filter. I need a new tank. Is the tank for the Invite model identical to the more expensive packages |
Answer: | There is no connectors included to connect it to PEX tubing. You have to find the inter-connectors between these two tubing types. |
Question: | Does this come with the power cord |
Answer: | It is no problem to get pure water, but the system can not stop automaticlly ,and life time of filters will be shorter. It is not recommended.for storage tank,I am pleasure to tell you more information. 1.the Ro system capacity just 75GPD,that is 75 gallon per 24 hours. it is about 3 gallon pure water per hour. it is very very slow ,that is reason we need storage tank to keep water. 2.it is installed under sink, that mean we should charge some pressure .standard pressure is 5-7 psi, too less or too much pressure, the system can not work well. 3.it is normal if there is waste water in red line when system work. and waste water is doulbe of pure water. but it must be off and without waste water when system don't work and tank is full. it work controlled by water tank, when tank is full, the system off, when tank is not full, system work automatically ,even you don't open faucet. 4.tank capacity is 2.8 gallon, but it just leave 80% space for pure water ,and remain space for air pressure . |
Question: | Does the button work like a water fountain, or does it toggle the flow on/off? (in one picture, it's dispensing without the button being pressed |
Answer: | Yes, we provide Ro system with alkaline mineral ph+ remineralization" and/or "uv filter" ,but these system without pump. product ASIN:B0787N749Y / B078F6VGM4 / B07G42W8M4 / B0787QBPN1 . If you feed water pressure is less 50 psi, please choose this item and add the 6 th stage as you like. if you need further support, please contact with us. [email protected] |
Question: | How many watts does this product use per hour? And can i turn it off constently to save electricity without it affecting performance |
Answer: | Sorry for confuse. we just state RESPONSABLE MANUFACTURER- ISO9001:2008 certificated Manufacturer ,also Member of Water Quality Association (WQA) ,the manufacturer is HIDROTEK. you may search again. and not goods certified by WQA. please check again. if you need further support, please contact with us. User questions & answers
Question: | I have an existing hot, cold faucet and filter. I need a new tank. Is the tank for the Invite model identical to the more expensive packages |
Answer: | I think all of the tanks are the same |
Question: | Does this come with the power cord |
Answer: | Yes, plugs into standard 110v 3 prong outlet |
Question: | Does the button work like a water fountain, or does it toggle the flow on/off? (in one picture, it's dispensing without the button being pressed |
Answer: | The button must be held to dispense. Caution... Design flaw. There is an O-ring under the button to take out some of the play in the button. This O-ring causes the button to stick into the "on" Position, you will not be able to turn the water off when this happens. One solution suggested by other people is to remove the O-Ring before installing. |
Question: | How many watts does this product use per hour? And can i turn it off constently to save electricity without it affecting performance |
Answer: | Since the heating element of these dispensers has a limited lifetime of about 5 years, and you can't just buy a new element - you have to buy a whole new unit - it makes sense to me to turn it off every night to come back on in the morning. I also turn it off when out of town, all of this using one of my home automation modules. With average use, my dispenser used only 15 to 20 kWh per month. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this come with a power cord or do i have to buy one separatel |
Answer: | First make sure that all of the water lines are hooked up correctly. When I first installed mine I put 50 psi in the bladder tank as a place to start. When I opened the faucet flow was real low and it stopped pretty quickly. So, I dropped the air pressure in the tank to 30 psi using my tire gauge. That seems to be a sweet spot for my system. Now it will deliver a gallon of water in just over one minute. The instructions say that the maximum pressure is 90 or 100 psi but don't really make it clear where it should actually be set. I found that 30 psi works for me. |
Question: | Just wondering how big should be the diameter of the hole should be to fix the faucet |
Answer: | We encourage our customers to install the unit themselves. The system comes pre-assembled with comprehensive installation instructions with additional videos on YouTube to walk you through these steps. You can install the unit during our business hours where we have technicians on standby to help answer any questions. If you still do not feel comfortable, any local plumber should have no problem. |
Question: | what are the demensions of the unit under the counter |
Answer: | I have the external pump attached to mine and it has a noticeable tick sound. Mine is under the sink in the cabinet and I still hear it. You get used to it after a while. |
Question: | I have a older model insinkerato sst, doesnt work since i bought the house. Can i replace with the same. Connections are all in sink already |
Answer: | This system will work with normal water pressure as well. |

Answer: | The expansion tank for this heater is not required. Most people already have these installed in their homes but if not then it would be Ok without it as there is a pressure relief valve on top if something happened. GlobalTowne is an authorized Bosch distributor. |
Question: | would this be able to supply a shower |
Answer: | A standard flow shower head is around 2.5 gallons per minute. A low flow head is around 1.5 gallons per minute. The recovery rate for a 90 degree temperature rise is 6.8 gallons per hour! So even the 7.5 gallon unit would only provide 4 minutes of shower time before the temp dropped off dramatically. (even at the low flow rate..) |
Question: | Can be used "in-line with a large hot water source"? Would it help a large bathtub that runs out of hot water before it gets full from main tank |
Answer: | If your bathtub is bigger than your main heater tank, this unit isn't going to do much for you. It will add 2.5, 4, or 7 gallons to the capacity of your main tank, depending on which Bosch unit you buy. The 7 gallon unit requires a specially wired circuit. You will also get a little bit of lukewarm water that was in the line between your main heater and the Bosch unit. Unless your main tank is awfully small and your bathtub massive, the 4 gallon unit should work for you. Maybe a demand type thankless heater in your bathtub hot water feed would be a better choice, but be careful to size it properly for your desired flow rate and temperature rise. Also a tankless is likely to require special wiring. |
Question: | When this heater is connected to the hot water line, what happens with the cold water that was sitting in the pipes |
Answer: | When the tap is opened, the hot water in the unit flows out. The colder water that was sitting upstream of the unit, enters the unit to be heated. If the tap remains open, the newly heated water flows out, being replaced eventually, (depending on the distance to the main water heater), with the water from the main water heater. You will probably set the unit temperature to equal the main water heater temperature, if you want to keep a constant temperature, but other scenarios are possible. |

Quality for Long-Life
Thick CFC-free foam insulation for maximum energy efficiency, glass-lined tank for durability.
Great for Small Spaces
Water heaters are compact and lightweight and can be floor, shelf, or wall mounted (except 7 Gallon) - features a sleek and attractive design to blend seamlessly with decor.
Minimize Wait Time for Hot Water
Waiting for hot water at a sink located far from a primary heating source can be frustrating. Only having access to cold water from a sink is just not useful, and plumbing a hot water line to every sink in a home or business requires time and money. To get hot water where it’s needed, when it’s needed, a better solution is to use the Tronic 3000 T from Bosch: a point-of-use electric mini-tank heater. This heater can supplement a primary water heating source, or be used under a single sink. In fact, the Bosch Tronic 3000 T can be used for three different applications: as a sole water heating source for a single sink, as a supplement to an existing heater located far from the sink, and as a buffer installed in-line with tankless water heaters that experience intermittent cold water, also known as 'cold water sandwiching'. No matter the configuration, there’s minimal stand-by loss from this premium mini-tank water heater.

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this unit provide colder water than what is offered on the tap |
Answer: | It does not to be any colder than tap. |
Question: | how cold is the cold option? like water from the refrigerator or water from the regular cold tap |
Answer: | The water coming from the cold side will be room temperature, or rather under-sink-cabinet temperature. We have since disconnected power to this hot water tap and our power bill went down by $30 per month. We only use it now to dispense the "cold" water. I would not recommend this product now. |
Question: | Is everything you need to install this unit included in the box and which filter goes with this unit |
Answer: | I put in new marble counter tops and had a plumber install it so I guess everything he needed was in the box. Works great and we have really enjoyed it. |
Question: | Do the hot or cold handles have a lock position or do I need to hold it down |
Answer: | They need to be held down. Overall product is great. The water can be adjusted to get really hot. Cold side is tap water temperature. Unit makes a little noise when making hot water. Other than that would order again. |

Question: | Is what you get with this system all you need, or do you need to purchase something else for this to work |
Answer: | It works fine with our model, GFC525F. Sounds like they are close. Order it and send it back if it doesn't work. |
Question: | Is there a stainless steel faucet available to match everything else in my kitchen |
Answer: | I don’t know, but I ended up getting a stopper that fit at Ace Hardware. This one, from Amazon, was too small to cover the opening for my discontinued model GE Disposall. |
Question: | will the installer drill through my quartz counter top to install this |
Answer: | Fits snug |
Question: | Is this supposed to be supplied by the hot water or cold water line |
Answer: | Not to add to the confusion, but there are 2 sizes. One is 3 inches WIDE and the other is 3.25 inches WIDE. Try to find your GE model number and Google for the part # to get the exact size.....Good Luck |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can the flow rate be adjusted up from 0.5gpm to say 1gpm or 1.5gpm (understood that the output water will be corresponding less hotter)? thanks in adv |
Answer: | This is a 199,000 btu model, a 3/4" gas line is required to have sufficient gas supply. |
Question: | degree water going in what degree will be at the tap |
Answer: | rinnai recommends the GTK03 Grundfos kit for this unit |
Question: | are any of these tankless water heaters plug in |
Answer: | I think, you need buy a WiFi module, call Rennai and ask. Circ-logic did not work for me, I had to install re circulation pipe. Because of the high minimum flow requirements, this unit did not work with any regular re circulation pump, so wasted money buying a Watts pump. And paid double for the labor. Rennai told me that I should have bought their thankless heater with re-circulation built in. |
Question: | Would you recommend this model for a shower in a guest bathroom |
Answer: | IT CAME WITH ADAPTERS ON THE TOP. NO PIPING. |

3 Smart Steps for Endless Hot Water
Step 1: Determining your average inlet water temperature is important, this allows you to determine how well your unit will perform in your desired location. A lower inlet water temperature will require a higher kilowatt product.
Step 2: This product is fixed flow, which means that the output temperature rise of this product is determined by flow rate of the application. This chart gives you the expected temperature rise for various sink flow rates from 0.5 to 1.5 gallons per minute.
Step 3: Determining specifications and electrical infrastructure is important because without the correct infrastructure your unit may not fit into your breaker panel.

User questions & answers
Question: | Mine has started leaking from the base of the hot water lever, are there parts available to fix it |
Answer: | It is probably a small "O" ring, available at any good hardware store. If it's still under warranty, best to contact them first. It's a bit tricky to put back together if you take it apart. |
Question: | Are there any safety features that prevent a young child from pushing the hot water lever |
Answer: | No. It is just a lever - left side is the Hot & right side is the Cold. Our system is at the very back of our sink, and our children were teenagers when we first purchased this product. |
Question: | How cold is the cold water? Does the hot water get to 190 degrees |
Answer: | The cold water is cold, but not too cold; just tap water cold. The hot water is at least 190 degrees and I can adjust it hotter if I choose. |
Question: | what is the spout height and reach? the product dimensions say 19" & 11" . is that really true |
Answer: | When installed, the top of the faucet is just under 9 inches above the counter top (or sink lip), the spout where the water exits the spout is 5 1/2 inches above the top of the counter and the center of the water exit is about 5 inches from the center of the mounting hole in the counter top. In other words, the water flows about 5 inches from the center of the mounting hole. Hope this helps. |

Product description
This Smart Technology electric tankless water heater is configured as a "whole home" model for climates where incoming water temperature is 67°F and above. This model is well suited for heating up to 2-Gallon per minute, which is the equivalent of one shower head (with a 1.5 gpm flow) and one sink with a low inlet water temperature of 67°F and an output setting of 105°F. Digital Temperature Control allows you to set your temperature in increments of 1 Degree. This model can also be used in colder climates as a Point of Use for a sink or other low flow application. All tankless water heaters are sized based on flow rate and temperature rise, and there is a direct relationship between the two. So if used in a cold area requiring a high temperature rise, it will be more limited in the amount of fixtures (gallons per minute) it can heat at one time compared to a warmer climate. When sized properly this water heater will provide endless hot water and only consume the energy needed, giving the user complete control. Prior to purchase and installation please verify this model is the right size for the expected demand and electrical requirements. The ECO 11 requires a minimum 125 amp electrical panel for installation with 60 amp double pole breaker connected to set of #6 awg wire. Plumbing connections are 1/2" compression fitting with the option of 1/2" NPT adapter included. For additional assistance please feel free to contact our support center at 877-474-6473.
NOTE : 11Kw at 220 is equal to 13kw at 240. .Activation Flow : 0.3 GPM

User questions & answers
Question: | Ours has only been in service for less than a year - will not adjust temperature to anything above 85 Deg. F. What do you think is the problem ? kds |
Answer: | My only guess is that the rheostat (variable resistor) that the temperature adjustment knob is attached to may be faulty. If that isn't it then I don't know. Sorry. |
Question: | The warrenty says that this unit must be installed by a licensed electrician and plumber, for them to honor the "life time warrenty." why |
Answer: | Hello Bob, The reason is the same as why an innumerable number of gadgets around the world have that little "warranty void if removed" label. Because getting inside of one requires a certain level of training and expertise. Same with this unit. GadgetsGo is an authorized Ecosmart dealer. Kind regards,HenryGadgetsGo |
Question: | My house is wired 110V. What additional items do I need to purchase for the conversion |
Answer: | Just to expand slightly on prior answers, normally a residential service feed is 240 volts between the two incoming hot legs. There is also a neutral leg, which (hopefully) has zero potential with reference to ground. The voltage between either one of the hot legs and the neutral leg is 120 volts. The 120 volt circuits in your house are connected to one or the other of the two hot legs, and only one. An attempt is made to assign circuits to the two hot legs in a way that will roughly balance the load between them. The other side of a 120 volt circuit is connected to the neutral leg. There is additionally a safety ground run with the circuit, which also ties into the panel. Certain devices require more power (work product of current and voltage) than is practical to deliver using a 120 volt circuit. Common examples are your clothes dryer, and your electric stove. These devices are powered by both hot legs, with a difference in potential of 240 volts. This water heater is also such a device.STRONG BUT FRIENDLY WARNING: If you did not already know this, please don't make wiring this water heater your learning opportunity with electricity. Hire someone who knows how to do it right. Cutting corners, especially with higher currents and voltages, can lead to equipment damage, fire, and electrocution. Electricity is not magic, and you can certainly learn how to do many common wiring tasks safely on your own, but today is not the day to begin that journey. You need properly sized components, properly installed, and connected to an adequate service. Also, if you really, really foul up, you could conceivably wind up making that morning shower more energizing than you ever imagined, if you get what I mean. So newly aspiring electricians should go fix their grandmother's favorite table lamp instead. Once they have that working they can use it to to start reading books about electricity, residential wiring, and eventually, books about this stuff: http://amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_8?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=nec+code&sprefix=nec+code%2Caps%2C164 . Of course, you still have to know not to nick conductors when you strip them, and other trade craft like that ; ) . Like almost everything in life that is fun, electricity will hurt you. Sort of like all those people you dated for a while, and then wished later you had never met. |
Question: | what amp breaker is required |
Answer: | The National Electrical Code requires conductors and overcurrent protection to be sized at 100% of the manufacturer's branch circuit recommendation for tankless electric water heaters. A 60 amp breaker is the same price as a 40 or 50, it is the wire that costs more. #6 AWG wire is required for a 60 amp circuit. If you undersize the wire it could overheat and catch fire. Protect your family and follow the manufacturer's sizing for this, or any other, electrical device. Your family's lives are worth the extra money. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Just bought this and had installed by my contractor. It turns out that the hot water tastes sour . Is there something wrong with the product I bought? something wrong with the way it was installed? or do I just need another filter or something. It is brand new, never used, so I'm not sure why I would need another filte |
Answer: | yes, it does come with a power cord. |
Question: | Can both hot and cold water run at the same time? I want to blend the hot and cold so I can wash my hands |
Answer: | This is a safety feature; user must turn and hold handle for hot water to dispense. An unlimited flow of near boiling water could cause burns quickly. |
Question: | Does the control lever move backward, or forward (toward the sink)? If backward, how much clearance is needed to fully operate the lever |
Answer: | You need 2 inches from the center of the hole for the handle to rotate to the rear 1/4 turn. I'd want 2.25 or more inches. |
Question: | What is the range of temperature (in Fº) adjustment |
Answer: | This model is more economical "Invite" series, and h-wave sn-ss is more expensive "Involve" series. And the faucets are different. I regret I am not much help, but I just spent 10 minutes on Amazon site trying to figure out the difference. The more expensive model reads just like my more economical model: it makes 60 cups of hot water. Not sure what you get for the extra $110. |
Question: | Does this come with a power cord or do i have to buy one separatel |
Answer: | Don’t buy it . Came with no instructions. |
Question: | Just wondering how big should be the diameter of the hole should be to fix the faucet |
Answer: | The picture at the top IS the The Amazon AB-T105 as the title shows. The picture in the menu is the AB-t104. As you clicked on the menu, the title changes to show that it is a different model. |
Question: | what are the demensions of the unit under the counter |
Answer: | Thank you for your question concerning 540AKR(P5) 3-Inch Complete Flush Valve and Flapper Repair Kit. Question: | I have a older model insinkerato sst, doesnt work since i bought the house. Can i replace with the same. Connections are all in sink already |
Answer: | yes, only if it has a 3-inch hole on the tank were the flapper shuts. |
Question: | I have an existing hot, cold faucet and filter. I need a new tank. Is the tank for the Invite model identical to the more expensive packages |
Answer: | It is packed under the seal which is pushed over the stud. You can’t see it until you pull the red foam seal off. |
Question: | Does this come with the power cord |
Answer: | I think it would but i personally havnt done it.It does fit in the new Toto 1.28 gallon toilets toilets and adjusts to use more water |
Question: | Does the button work like a water fountain, or does it toggle the flow on/off? (in one picture, it's dispensing without the button being pressed |
Answer: | The bottom part is 7/8 size which is USA standard. |
Question: | How many watts does this product use per hour? And can i turn it off constently to save electricity without it affecting performance |
Answer: | yes it's adjustable, I use it in an old toilet also but I use it at half full. Works great. I did have to get a longer fill tube as the hose was getting in the way of the flush lever. |
