Question:	How can I choose white caps instead of chrome? I can only see the option to choose color of the seat and the form. In my case white and round
Answer:	The seat part of the fixture is about 7/8 inch measured at the outside front edge. However, the seat itself is not 7/8 inch thick. It is indented underneath and is really about 1/2 inch in thickness. The lid is made the same way and has the same measurements.
Question:	How thick is the toilet seat without the lid
Answer:	Just in case you meant lid, the lid and the seat are one unit but easily pop off. There are 2 buttons you access when the seat is totally lifted. You push them in at the same time and the entire unit comes off very easily (pull straight up). It also re-installs just as fast. It's an awesome design because there is no need to mess with the screws and bolts where it's fastened to the toilet.
Question:	Can you separate the kid from the seat for cleaning purposes
Answer:	I think there are more than enough to start your Worm Factory. I have the same system, and when I placed these worms in the top bin ( I had almost completed compost in the second and third bins )about half of them migrated down to the second bin. Good luck with them.

Telescoping" vs "Stacked" Lid

Bath Royale's Premium Elongated Family toilet seat (BR631-xx) has a "telescoping" lid that completely covers the seat when lid is closed. This looks great (very clean), but the seat is only 13.75 inches wide. If your toilet bowl is wider than 14.25 inches, you may see a small amount of the bowl on either side.

People accustomed to heavy, stiff wood seats may think plastic is bad, but for harsh environments such as bathrooms, high-quality plastic is much better for several reasons. Painted wood seats and vinyl-covered foam soft seats are cheaper to produce and don’t last very long. These seats usually have fewer features (no Slow Close or Quick Release), fewer bumpers (2 instead of 4), inferior plastic hinges and plastic mounting hardware. Painted wood seats can stain, chip, peel or break...usually at the plastic hinges or the wood seat itself.

MasterSuite Models

MasterSuite seats (BR237 elongated, BR283 round) are made of Eurocast, a high-tech polymer that is harder, heavier and stiffer than polypropylene. Eurocast is cooler to touch, extremely durable and scratch resistant. Eurocast is more porous than polypropylene, so it breathes better against the skin, but may stain if urine or dark liquids are left on the surface for long periods of time (for example, in kid's bathrooms or on the underside of the seat, where maintenance is often neglected).

Answer:	It depends on whether you’re buying the regular or right height toilet. If you look on the spec pdf provided for each, regular is 15” floor to rim (no seat), and right height is 16.5” floor to rim (no seat).
Question:	Toilet makes a lot of noise while filling and has a long time to fill. Why
Answer:	We had this exact issue with our AS Champion Elongated One Piece, manufactured in 2004. We easily resolved it by removing the fill valve cap, then removing, cleaning, and reinstalling the rubber fill valve gasket that's fitted to the underside of the cap, then reinstalling it. Gunk builds up on either or both sides of that black rubber gasket and causes long fill times, filling noise, and even a slight leak. If that doesn't fix the issue, you can replace the entire fill valve unit with a standard/universal one from FluidMaster for around $10. This advice was confirmed by customer service at American Standard.

Answer:	The couple that we purchased did not have a slow closing lid. As a matter of fact the lids themselves are pretty cheap and we replaced them with oak toilet seats with slow closing lids.
